A few days later, Chase was handing out protein bars to the students, in the cafeteria.

- "Here you go, guys. Protein recovery bars." He said.

- "Ugh! Again?" Bob complained.

- "Yes, again. Would you like to complain more about the free food, Bob?" The genius boy replied, irritated. "Dad made them to maximize our workouts. They have everything the body needs."

- "Yeah, my body doesn't need that." Jason shook his head.

- "Yeah, to make you puke. I'm gonna hold out until the 3 o'clock peanuts." Spin put the protein bar back in the box.

- "Yeah, me too." Aaron nodded and followed his brother.

- "Yeah, I'm very glad I'm not bionic." Maddie smiled.

- "Luckily for me, I'm bionic, so I don't have a gag reflex." Adam said as he put the protein bar in his mouth.

- "We're all bionic, and yes, you do." Bree replied. "The only person, who doesn't have a gag reflex here, is M."

That's gonna be useful in the future. The alien girl smiled.

- "No, I don't." The tall guy said with his mouth full, before gagging and spitting out the protein bar. "Ooh! Yes, I do."

Leo walked in holding a box.

- "Ooh. What's that?" The youngest asked.

- "Oh, this? It's just a little care package my mom sent out for all of us. Oh, wait. Nope, it's just for me." The middle brother grinned.

- "Spin." The Matthews girl gestured to him to come. Spin walked up to her. She, slightly, bent down. "You and your siblings make a list of the things you wanna taste, and I'll talk to Davenport."

- "Thanks, Maddie." The youngest smiled.

A loud squirting sound was heard, making everyone looked over at Bob.

- "Oh, it's uh, easier for me to swallow if I pretend it's a hamburger. Which is tough, because I don't even know what a hamburger is." He explained.

- "Wait, you've never had a hamburger? That's so sad!" The Davenport girl exclaimed.

- "You wanna cheer me up by giving me a hug?" The blonde boy asked.

- "That's so sad!" Bree repeated. "Guys." She pulled her fellow mentors away. "These kids have no social skills because they've been completely isolated from the real world. They have no idea what it's like to be normal."

- "That's what I've been telling you." Maddie replied.

- "Ah, yes. I remember your first days out of the lab. So young, so naïve. You needed a strong hand to guide you." Leo smiled.

- "Yeah. But all we got was you." The Davenport girl said.

- "Your first day will always be epic." The alien girl snickered.

The three older mentors rolled their eyes at the memory.

- "Anyway, these kids deserve a taste of the real world." Bree added.

- "Well, I just got some food from the real world. You, guys, are welcome to... wait, nope. No, it's just for me." The middle Davenport brother grinned.

Spin used his rapid gyration ability to steal Leo's jar of peanut butter off his hands.

- "What was that?" He frowned.

- "No idea." Spin replied with peanut butter all over his face.

Bob dragged the protein bar across his brother's peanut butter face and ate it.
