11) Just a Casual Day With the Waynes

A/N: tis long and exists purely because I saw the meme above

Nico sank lower in his seat, loathing what was about to happen. He had been home for a month and it was finally time to face the media. He wished Will was there, but sadly his boyfriend had returned to camp a week and a half ago.

"Why can't I just do an interview with Clark Kent?" He muttered with a frown. "I didn't mind my first interview with him."

Dick patted his head sympathetically. "Sorry Neeks, but he's a Metropolis journalist. If Bruce gave him the exclusive on you, then the Gotham Media would get pissed and it would start a whole thing."

"Don't worry, we'll be here the whole time," Tim said with a reassuring smile. "Plus, this type of interview will be fun."

Barbra wheeled over to him. "All they do is give you commonly asked questions from online, it just works out that most of yours are about the disappearance or the few sightings of you since coming back."

"You'll do great," Steph said, actively shoving snacks in her purse from the snack table in the green room they were currently residing in.

A PA knocked before stepping into the room. "We're ready for you on set."

Nico sighed before standing up with his brothers and the others, his cane clutched tightly in his grip. They made their way onto the set and took their seats in the group of chairs that were in front of a white backdrop. Once they were all situated, Nico sitting next to Dick, the director of the video walked up to them.

"So I'm sure the rest of you know this already, but since this is Mr. DiAngelo-Wayne's first time doing one of these, I'll explain. It's pretty straightforward, we'll hand one of you a board and you'll reveal the questions one at a time. Take some time to answer it and then move on to the next one. At first we'll do the whole group, and then do some different groups of people after that. Got it?"

Nico nodded and the director walked off, motioning for a PA to give them the first board. The young man moved to hand it to Nico, but Jason leaned forward and grabbed it, which the demigod was very grateful for.

"Ok, after I say action, someone do a quick intro and then reveal the first question," the director said before calling action.

"Hey, we're the Waynes and today we'll be answering the most asked questions online," Dick said with a practiced smile.

Jason pulled a white tab off of the board. " 'How many Waynes are there?' A lot. Some could argue that there are too many."

Dick smacked Jason's arm before Tim answered. "Well if you're talking about just people will the last name, then there are six of us including Bruce; however there are a lot of honorary Waynes as well."

Steph smiled and waved. "That would be us," she said as she gestured to herself, Barb, Duke, and Cass. "We're all close friends with the boys so Bruce considers us family."

Jason pulled off the next one. "Which of the Waynes boys are single?"

They all shared a look before Nico spoke up. "I'm not."

"Im not," Tim said before high-fiving Nico.

Jason shrugged. "I'm not."

Immediately they all turned to stare at Jason.

"What? Since when?!" Dick asked, scandalized.

"Tt- who have you managed to trick into dating you."

Barbra smiled. "I knew he wasn't single."

Jason laughed. "I'm not telling you guys."

Nico and Jason made eye contact.

"I'll tell you later, Nico," Jason whispered to him, causing Dick to gasp and smack his arm.
