-Barbra POV-

Planning 9 consecutive raids in 9 different countries across 3 different continents and 6 time zones was no small feat.

They had 12 bats, 12 demigods from the camps, a (mostly) immortal 15 year old, the three remaining New Olympians, a cyclops, 2 half kryptonians, a speeder, an archer with one arm, and enough trauma to send an army of therapists to an early retirement, but by gods were they efficient when it came to mobilizing.

"Clocktower, checking in," Babs said as she pulled up the drone feeds of each location. "Teams, check in."

Barbra listen to them all sound off before getting her drones into position and twitching her screens to show the live feeds from the cameras on each person's suit.

"Okay, remember, try to remain hidden until you have eyes on the demigods. We don't want them alerting the other bases too early," Babs said, feeling the familiar thrum of anxiety that came with every mission course through her veins. "Get in, get the demigods, and get out. It'd be great to strike a blow to the League of Assassins, but that's not why we're here."

Everyone copied before she gave the word to move in.

Being the person behind the scenes had never been Bab's plan. She had always wanted to be out there, doing what she could to protect her city and the people she cared about, but that option had been taken from her.

She had made her peace with the fact that she would never be able to be batgirl again, but it was moments like these that made desperately wish she could take up the mantle even just one more time. To watch her family risk their lives and know there was little she could do to help them should they need it... it took a toll on her she would never fully be able to express.

"Team Batman has eyes on Storm," Cecil said through the comm, his camera showing that they were in the vents of the base.

"Hold position," Bab's said, eyes scanning the other camera views. "Wait till everyone has eyes on their targets before moving in."

"Team Nightwing has eyes on Tech," Lou Ellen said, he camera showing that she was in a security room full of screens, most likely using the mist to conceal herself.

"Team Batwoman knows the location of Red Oracle" Pollux said.

"No visual?" Babs asked, looking at what their cameras were showing.

Kayla responded for the team. "We overheard the guards."

"Copy," Barbra said, accepting that as a concrete enough conformation.

"Confirmation that Red and Titianess are not being held together," Nyssa said, sounding like she was whispering while running.

Barbra looked at her body cam and saw her following Tim, Kon, and Malcom down an empty hallway.

"Is that a confirmation of Titianess' location?"

"Team Red Robin, confirming Titianess' location at this base," Tim said.

"Team Signal has eyes on Beast," Austin said, his voice echoing only slightly.

"We got eyes on the General," Clarrise said, her camera showing that they were in the rafters of a building.

"Copy that Team Orphan," Babs said, eyes still darting among the cameras.

"Team Spoiler has a visual on Kaleidoscope," Annabeth whispered, her camera point of view showing that he was in front of the demigod's cell door, probably wearing her invisibility hat.

"Team Robin and Team Red Hood, one of you should have two targets. We still need eyes on GK, Gem, and Surgeon."

The lines were silent for a time, but Babs didn't let herself panic. Damian was usually pretty quiet on comms unless he had to be and Jason was more focused on the mission than she had seen in a while.

Both team's cameras were mostly dark, but that just meant they were in the vents. They had to be close to finding the last three.

"Team Robin has a lock on Gem," Yan said quietly, their voice laced slightly in disappointment as they continued. "There are no other holding cells in the base."

Babs looked at their cams. "Please restate your confirmation. Video shows no sign of Gem."

"She's in the metal containment pod," Jon said back quietly. "I looked through it. It's her."

"Copy. Do you have a way to get her out quickly?"

"I can handle it," Harley whispered, a slight excitement over the challenge evident in the kid's voice.

"Team Red Hood, that means you have GK and Surgeon-"

"Negative," Jason's voice said, cutting her off. Theres only one person here."

Babs looked at his camera. He was in the control room for the base, the security cameras in front of him along with a blueprint of the base.

Bab's eyes searched the cameras for any possible blind spot the last demigod could be in, but there was none.

They were missing a base— or maybe... maybe they were just missing a demigod.

"Copy," she said, willing her voice to stay even despite the tightening feeling in her throat. "All teams, move in."
