-Tim POV-

Tim was damn near giddy. He was practically bouncing in his seat as he faced the massive window in the CEO office of WE.

"Mr. Wayne, your 1 o'clock appointment is here," Bruce's assistant said through the intercom.

Tim spun around, clicking the button as he said, "Send him in," in his best Bruce voice before turning back to face the window.

He may not have been raised by Bruce, but by gods did he have his dramatic flare.

"Mr. Wayne, I have to admit that I am surprised you didn't cancel our-" Luthor began to say as he entered the office, but stopped the second Tim turned around in his chair.

"Hello Luthor," Tim said with a shit eating grin.

Lex didn't even try to hide his sneer as he stared at the third eldest Wayne. "Timothy."

"My father is out sick, so I took over the day to day operations for him," Tim said, leaning his head on his hand. "Hope you don't mind the change of plans."

Lex begrudgingly sat down in the chair opposite Tim. "I do. My meeting was to do with Bruce, not Wayne Enterprises."

Tim hummed in faux pity. "That sucks. Well, he is home sick. Seems my brother is too."

Lex's eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Your brother?"

Tim shrugged nonchalantly, kicking his feet up onto the desk. "Yeah, Nico. Bruce said he got some virus from his boyfriend, so he's quarantining at his apartment. Bruce quarantined himself too."

Lex looked at him with calculating eyes. "Is that so?"

Tim surpassed his smirk, knowing that their ploy was working, and just shrugged once again. "Those two are always weird though."

Lex's face twitched slightly, as if he were suppressing a smile. "Weird how?"

"I don't know," Tim said, leaning back more in his seat. "They're always whispering and keeping secrets. Like, Bruce will just let him stay at his boyfriend's place for days on end or skip school, and he doesn't even care."

"Is that so?" Lex said, looking like he truly believed he was playing Tim into giving more information than he thought. "So Nico and Bruce are both sick?"

Tim nodded. "And Damian. And they keep being super weird about when they're getting out of quarantine. The other day they said it would be in a few days, and then suddenly they said it might be longer than expected."

"Does Bruce know you're meeting with me?"

Tim shrugged, glancing out of the corner of his eye at Cass who had snuck into the room, giving him a nod that the tackers were placed. "I ran the company for him when he got that head injury a while back, so like... kinda? He knows I'm running the place, so if he knew this meeting was today, then probably."

"I highly doubt he knew," Lex said. "Bruce tends to cancel my meeting day of."

"He does that a lot," Tim said, now just buying time until he got the signal from Damian. "Like father like son I guess."

"How is that?"

"Nico is always canceling on plans," Tim said in faux exasperation. "Like we were all set to go on a field trip with Mr. VH for school, and then, at the last minute, Nico just didn't come. He said he had plans with his boyfriend— and then Bruce said that they were sick and had to be quarantined. Apparently there was some outbreak in their friend group, so they're all sick right now."

"What are they sick with?"

Tim shrugged. "No clue, but it must be serious if they've been quarantined for like 2 weeks and still aren't coming out any time soon."

"And it's just  Bruce who got exposed to this sickness?" Lex asked, a smile poorly hidden on his face.

"Yep," Tim said as his eyes caught on a message from Damian on his computer that said he was in the clear. "Bruce hasn't left his room in a while. Even Alfred isn't allowed in."

Tim clicked a button on the flood on the desk— a feature added by Bruce for when he needed an out for a particularly boring meeting— and there was instantly the sound of the phone ringing.

Tim made the 'give me a minute' sign to Lex as he grabbed the desk phone and put it to his ear. "Hello?"

There was no one on the other end of the phone.

"This is he."

He was talking to himself.

"Yes, of course."

He was just watching Lex sit there, waiting for this phone call to end.

"Well, I am sorry to hear that but-"

Sure, why shouldn't he be cut off mid sentence by someone who isn't there?

"Of course. I will deal with that right away."

He gave a fake 'wish this call would end' look to Lex.

"No, of course. I saw that the sectors profits were dropping, but now I guess I see why."

None of the sector's profits were dropping.

"Oh don't you worry, I will have words with Lionel from Marketing."

There was no Lionel from Marketing.

"Oh you bet your ass he'll be sorry."

He was really just wasting Lex's time at this point.

"If this isn't fixed by the end of the week, then I'll launch an investigation myself about it."

Lex looked like he was getting annoyed.

"Yeah... not doubt. Okay, give the Misses my best. See you later, Greg," Tim said as he set down the phone.

"So sorry about that," Tim said, trying his best to look apologetic. "You know how it is."

"Of course," Lex said as he stood up, reaching to shake Tim's hand. "This meeting has certainly been enlightening, but I sadly must take my leave."

Tim shook his hand, placing yet another bug on that bald bitch. "That's too bad."

Lex gave him a nod, saying a quick farewell before leaving the office.

Tim gave it a good 10 seconds before snapping twice, signaling for Cass to make her presence known.

Tim pulled out a device, using it to scan the room for any bugs, before looking to the girl. "He believe it?"

Cass smirked and nodded.

Tim clicked the comm in his ear. "Oracle, are all the plants working?"

The smile was clear in Bab's voice as she said, "We have live tracking and audio on Lex and good visual from the cameras Damian was able to plan in Lex's car."

"Good," Tim said with a smile.
