A/N: dis chapter is both early and short... so PEMDAS means it's basically long

-Jason POV-

They were getting no where. It had been 5 days, and there was quite literally no trace of the demigods, Tara, or even the League of Assassins. They had checked every security camera, video, and post from the attack at the Meta Youth Center, but they had nothing.

Tim had slept one time since the attack and it was only because Alfred dosed his food with sleeping pills and hid all the coffee in the house. He spent his days on the computer, searching for anything that could lead them to their brother.

Bruce had gone full angsty mode. He was beyond stressed. He had barely left the cave since they got back to the manor and only really ate the food Alfred brought him because they knew it made the elderly man feel better.

Dick was a wreck. He shot between silently staring off, anxious self muttering in Romani, and snapping at anything that went slightly wrong. His phone had rang while he was staring off at one point and the eldest threw it at the wall, shattering it.

Damian had taken it upon himself to call every League of Shadows contact he had, which gave him a really  unique energy. It was like mob boss meets telemarketer— just calling people up, threatening their lives, and then getting pissed about no one wanting to talk to him.

Even Alfred looked like he was on the edge of a break down. They continuously found him staring at the family portrait that Bruce had commissioned that summer.

The remaining demigods were a mixed bag. One moment they would be calm, doing everything they could to find them, and then they next they would be destroying the punching bags in the gym and cursing every god they could name.

Every tracker on Nico and the others, and there were quite a few on each person, had been disabled. Nico's communicator had been destroyed, and even Iris messages weren't going through.

Jason was some how the only one that was managing to not freak out— at least externally. Internally he was a complete mess, but that wasn't important. Those feelings were being repressed until after he got his little brother back, because they were  getting him back.

Jason walked into the Batcave and found exactly what he expected: Tim at the computer, Dick passing while muttering in Romani, Bruce standing over Tim's shoulder (unblinking), Damian yelling into his phone in arabic, and the demigods fighting on the hologram training pad.

"Tim, Damian, its Friday," Jason said throwing GA uniforms at each teen. "M'gann has agreed to be fake Nico today, but I'll be picking you all up early before she goes to VH's class because he would most defiantly notice."

Damain, who had apparently been hung up on, glared at him. "Our brother is missing and you want us to waste time at school when we could be searching for him?"

Jason sighed, very aware that everyone else had stopped what they were doing to watch him. "Nico was very clear. In the case that he went missing again, he wanted us to keep up appearances— which means you two go to school and make sure M'gann doesn't get caught."

The two teens just glared at him before Bruce finally spoke.

"Jason is right."

"That's a first," Tim muttered, only to immediately get punched in the arm by the second eldest.

"Nico wanted you all to act normal and it is only for a few hours. The rest of us will keep on searching," Bruce said, looking far older than he usually did. "Both of you, go get ready for school."

The duo surprisingly didn't put up that much of a fight. Ever since Nico's abduction, it seemed like the fight had gone out in all of them. Sure they were all ready to snap and murder someone at any moment, but they had lost the will to stand their ground.

No matter how many times they told themselves that it wasn't their fault, it still felt like it was. It felt like they weren't doing enough. It felt like they failed.

Once the school age duo was gone, Bruce took Tim's place at the computer and Dick switched to staring blankly at the wall, his mind probably running a million miles a second in an attempt to process anything that was going on. The only ones who didn't go back to what they were doing before were the demigods.

Jason crossed to them, noticing the urgently worried look on Percy's face and the concerned look on the girls' faces.

"What's wrong?" He asked, worried to hear the answer.

"The air..." Percy muttered, voice trailing off.

Jason looked to Annabeth for the translation for whatever the hell that meant, but the girl just shrugged.

Percy shook his head slowly, a realization apparently dawning on him before he took off towards the exit of the cave. Instantly Jason and the other demigods were chasing after him, following him until he go to the foyer of the Manor.

Before he could even open the door it burst open. Jason immediately had his guns out, the girls doing the same with their knives, but they instantly dropped them when electricity crackled in the air and a girl stepped into the foyer.

"Thalia!" Annabeth cried, surging forward and wrapping the girl in what looked to be a bone breaking hug.

Percy moved to join the hug, but was shoved away by the girl.

Once Annabeth let go, she looked at Jason, who still had his guns pointed towards her, too frozen in shock to remember to put them away.

"Either pull the trigger or put them away," she said, eyebrow raised as if to say 'I fucking dare you.'

Jason shook himself from his shock and put the gun away, still staring at her with wide eyes because he really couldn't believe he was meeting Thalia. He had heard stuff about her for a while, but it was like she was a myth in it of herself.

"Hi," he said lamely. "I'm Jason, one of Nico's brothers."

Thalia eyed him for a second before seeming to give a look that vaguely resembled approval. "Thalia. I'm Nico's cousin— now where is the Bat? We have things to discuss."

A/N: ik this was short, but I am still brainstorming how fast/slow I want this to be. We are approaching the endgame and I have things to decide.
