Every morning is my favorite

"Kleyn..." i tried to wake her up. "Gising na"

She groaned and cover her self with the sheets. I smiled, for sure she is tired.

"Come on. Wake up and eat you'll be late"

Doon pa lamang siya bumangon. Pinigilan kong humalakhak sa kaniya, she's panicking.

"Bakit ngayon mo lang ako ginising?!" she ranted.

I leaned forward and whispered. "Your tired remember?"

I laughed teasingly seeing how red she is, for sure she's having flashback on her head

"Don't worry, we'll continue that later, hmm? For now just eat your breakfast" i placed the breakfast i prepared on her lap

May munting halakhak pa nung lumabas ako ng kwarto. Kleyn is completely on pause, she looks so cute.

"Are you all ready?" i asked the kids.

They nodded to me

"Alright. I'll just bring this to your mom"

Just as what i told them, i brought the coffee to her

I kissed her forehead. "Coffee,"

"Lamat," she cutely thanked me, still focus on eating her breakfast

I smiled, feeling proud because i am the one who cook it

"How was it?"

Hindi siya sumagot at binigyan lamang ako ng thumbs up

"Where's my reward then?" she leaned forward and kiss me on the lips

My heart fluttered

This is exactly the life i wanted. The life with her

"Bye, Dad!"

I waved and wait for them to finally enter

I smiled and started to drive, going to work

I look forward every evening, thinking i'd go home to her. I always look forward to her coffee, she's actually good at making one

"Oh, nandito ka na" she smiled and kissed me

Nagpalinga ako sa paligid. "Where are they?" referring to our kids

"Na kina tita, sinundo kanina lang" tumango ako

Hinubad niya ang bag ko at itinabi iyon.

"Gawan kita ng kape, maghintay ka lang diyan"

I waited

Ilang sandali nga lumabas na siya mula sa kwarto. Pinagmasdan ko siyang magtimpla ng kape sa akin, she suddenly look over her shoulder and gave me her prettiest smile

For a moment, i forgot that we're not young anymore

Who would have thought that we'd came this far?

Lumapit ako sa kaniya at ipinulupot ang braso sa maliit niyang bewang, hinawakan niya ang kamay ko

"How's work?"

"It was good. How about you?" i shortly answered, doesn't really want to talk about it. I wanted to hear her's instead

"Maayos naman. Nakakastreess pero sanay na ako" dire-diretso niyang sabi, nakatingin lang ako sa mukha niya habang nagkukuwento siya. Every day, she gets prettier. "Nag-aaya sina Aria uminom pero ayaw ko na. Changed person na this"
