Duke Ming spat the dead Vampire's out of his mouth and began to stalk the last two who were on their heels, running away from him. Like the big bad wolf he was, he howled and chased them. Duke Ming wasn't just like any other werewolf, he was special and had abilities the other werewolf's in Azerath didn't have. The vampires had super speed but somehow, this damned wolf still caught up with them and pinned them under this huge paw. He snarled at them making them have a good look at his huge teeth which was going to be the end of them. After intimidating them to his satisfaction, he bit and pulled their heads off. He howled once more in victory before changing back to his human form.

He walked back to his home and found his wife hiding behind a door. She sighted him and quickly hugged him tightly. "I was so scared. Are they all gone now?" She pulled away from the hug and observed him, making sure he wasn't wounded. "They are all gone my sweet. How's your belly?" Duke Ming pulled away the piece of clothe he used to stop the bleeding earlier and sighed seeing how bad it was. He made his wife lie on a couch "I'd be back" he said. It took some minutes but he was back with a small bottle in his hand. This mix was given to him by a sorcerer, it was meant to help quicken healing process. He got it for his wife because he knew that people will surely be after him and to put his wife in a safe spot, he got this mix just incase anything happens to her. It was made from several herbs but still had some magic in it. He poured a small amount on the wound and the stinging feeling made Iva cry out in pain."It's going to stop hurting soon" Duke Ming kissed his wife on her forehead. "What about your injuries. Has it healed?" Iva asked. She remembered an arrow pierced his shoulder earlier. "It's healed now my sweet" Duke Ming smiled at his wife.

Back to the present, Eva slept holding Lee Ming closely. With what happened few minutes ago, she needed to feel safe and being in his arms would make her feel just that. Dawn creeped on them and Eva woke up first, she opened her eyes slowly making them adjust to the light before opening them fully. The curtains were opened slightly enabling the sun rays to pass freely and rest on her husband's face. She carefully admired his features, from his thick brows and lashes that rested on the top of his cheeks and his silk hair that was disheveled. "I don't want to lose you" she said in a low tone as she used her thumb to brush his cheeks gently. Lee Ming wasn't a deep sleep so this action undoubtedly made him wake up. Opening his eyes, he saw the worried expression on his wife's face "What's wrong?". "We both have morning breath" Eva joked, making Lee Ming chuckle. "Then let's freshen up together" Lee Ming said smiling. "What?" Eva asked feeling shy and Lee Ming enjoyed seeing that shy expression on her face. "Now would you tell me what you're worried about? I know you said that earlier to distract me from what I asked" Lee Ming ran his hands through his wife's hair. Eva bit her lip because indeed she wanted to distract him from asking that because she didn't want him to know how worried she was. "It's just that I don't want to lose you, what happened last night and given that I had that bad dream that time, I'm scared Lee" Eva said. "It's going to be fine. Nothing will happen to me wifey" Lee coaxed her.
"Alright" Eva tried to trash her worries. "I have something for you though" Lee Ming said smiling. "What's that?" Eva asked as her eyes lit up. "If I tell you now then it's no more a surprise". "Ohhh" Eva uttered and Lee Ming stood up from the bed and headed to the bathroom "You can join me in the bathroom wifey. I'd love that" he teased making Eva smile widely.
