Hosie~ One Shots

I don't have a choice baby

This Story is about Hosie as Delena from Episode 5x22 (TVD). Hope is Damon, Josie is Elena, Lizzie is Bonnie and MG is Caroline.

-Outside near the cemetery-

"So you're good?" Josie asks affraid

Hope nods
"Operation Massacre.
Assuming the she wolf knows the difference between a water and a gas main... yeah I'm good." she says with a little smile

Hope looks at her mesmerized, while Josie smiles at her

"Listen, I wanted to save you the gory details. Then I figured, I'd be lying and the point of saving the universe... will be moot because you'd be pissed. So here it is."

She pauses briefly and continues

"Project Kaboom needs someone to trigger the explosion, so to speak."

Josie looks confused at her.
"Okay."
"Wait, you?"

Hope stretches her arms to the side and nods

"No, Hope. No, absolutely not, no." Josie says getting serious

"Go with your first instinct, Hope. Lesson learned." she says looking away from her girlfriend

Josie puts her arms around her neck and pulls her closer to her.

"Look at me, Hope. Do you see a future with me? Because that's all I see."

Hope looks deeply into her eyes.

"Josie, I've seen it since the second I laid my eyes on you."

"Then don't go on a suicide mission."

"Listen, technically, it's only half a suicide mission." Hope says while holding Josie's hands trying to comfort her

"We're gonna be bringing people back and I'm gonna be with them."

Josie takes a step back getting irritated

"What if something goes wrong?"

Hope closes her eyes and pauses for a moment before she continues

"All right, not to relive old fights, but this is my choice. And I need you to respect it." she says calmly

Josie scoffs. "That was a low blow."

Hope grabs her shoulders and says
"Hey, I will make it back to you. I promise."
while looking deeply into her brown eyes

Josie stares at her speechless and pulls Hope to her and kisses her deeply.

They pull away and Hope responds with her eyes still close "I promise you."

-Just before the border with Mystic Falls-

Hope sits on the hood of her car and waits for her signal.
She receives a message on her cell phone.
"They're here. Go now."

She hesitates at first and then puts her cell phone away and gets in the car.

As she was ready to drive off, the passenger door opens and Josie gets inside.

Hope is shocked at her appearance.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"You said to respect your choice. And I did. Now you can respect mine."

"Whoah. No.No, that's not how it works, Josie.
The second we cross the border, you're gonna feel everything. You're gonna drown again.
Take you back to the night you died a human."
Hope says trying to change her decision

"I know what I signed up for Hope.
And I'm all in." She sighs

Hope looks at her amazed

"What are you staring at? Drive."
