Hope scans everything at the self checkout area in the supermarket, after she's finish, she pulls out her wallet to pay.
"Do you think we have enough chocolate?" MG asks as he puts everything in the shopping cart.
Hope takes a quick glance at the bags of chocolate and looks back at MG with a frown.
"I think we should've gotten more."
MG looks at the bags with all the sweets and snacks. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He scratches the back of bis head and sighs, "Hopefully this works for now, if anything is missing we'll jist make a quick run to the supermarket again."
They walk outside towards Hope's car and load everything inside.
"Hopefully we don't have to." She responds jokingly as they get inside the car.
Hope pulls out her phone to have a look on her check list and turns towards MG.
"So we got chocolate."
MG looks through the bags and pulls out one bar. "Check."
"Tampons and pads."
Again he looks through the bags. "Check and check."
"Heating pads, ice cream, gummy worms and not to forget the bouquets of flowers."
"Check, check, check aaaannnd check. We made it bestie." MG replies with a smile.
Hope returns the smile and puts her phone away. They drive off.

While driving Hope takes aquick glance at MG. "Do you think it's weird that both of our girls have their periode at the same time of the month and crave the same things?"
MG laughs at that. "They are twins Hope, what did you expect?"
"That's true. How does Lizzie act during that time?"
"Well she wants to be with me all the time at one moment but then she also wants to stay away from me as far away as possible."
Hope chuckles at that responds. "Josie is similar to her. She wants to cuddle all the time and she doesn't want me to leave her side. She barely let me go to buy these items."
"When the time is over then Lizzie is all over me." MG says
"It's the same with Josie. She gets super horny but I'm not complaning. I love to take care of my wife." She replies with a smirk.

An hour later, Josie heard the front door open and close softly. Moments later, Hope's familiar figure appeared in the doorway, holding two bulging grocery bags. Her cheeks were flushed from the cold outside, and her eyes softened as she took in Josie's curled-up form.

"Honey I'm Home.," Hope greeted softly, setting the bags down and walking over to the bed. She pressed a gentle kiss to Josie's forehead. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I'm being tortured by tiny, angry gnomes," Josie mumbled, trying to smile but wincing instead.

Hope chuckled sympathetically. "Well, let's see if we can't kick those gnomes out, yeah?"

She walked back to the bags and began pulling out various items—tampons, two different types of chocolate, a new box of tea, and even a small heating pad she had found at the store. "I wasn't sure which chocolate you'd want, so I got both," she explained with a grin.

Josie's eyes filled with tears, partly from the pain but mostly from the overwhelming gratitude she felt toward Hope. "You didn't have to do all this," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

Hope shook her head, her expression softening further. "Hey, you're my wife, I'll always take care of you, just like I promised when we took our wedding vows. Through thick and thin and through sickness and health." She sat down on the edge of the bed, brushing a stray lock of hair from Josie's face. "You don't have to go through this alone."

Josie reached out, entwining her fingers with Hope's. "Thank you baby," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Hope gave her hand a gentle squeeze before getting up to make tea. Within minutes, the comforting aroma of herbal tea filled the room, and Josie found herself relaxing despite the persistent cramps. Hope returned with a steaming mug, sitting down beside Josie and holding it out to her.

"Careful, it's hot," she warned, as Josie took the mug gratefully.

They sat together in a comfortable silence for a while, Josie sipping her tea and Hope absentmindedly running her fingers through Josie's hair. The pain was still there, but it felt more manageable with Hope's comforting presence by her side.

"You know," Hope said after a while, breaking the silence, "I was thinking we could just have a movie marathon tonight. Something light and funny, maybe? No pressure, just us."

Josie smiled, feeling a wave of affection for the girl beside her. "That sounds perfect," she agreed, gibing her a sweet kiss on her lips before leaning her head on Hope's shoulder.

As the evening wore on, they did just that—cuddling up together under the blankets, watching their favorite comedies and indulging in all the chocolate Hope had brought. The pain was still there, but with Hope by her side, Josie felt a warmth that made it all more bearable.

And as she drifted off to sleep later that night, Josie couldn't help but think that she was incredibly lucky to have someone like Hope in her life—someone who knew how to take care of her when she couldn't take care of herself.
