Hope and Josie had built a beautiful life together, filled with laughter, love, and endless adventures. Their bond was unbreakable, a testament to the depths of their love and the challenges they had overcome. Their home was a sanctuary, filled with memories of their shared happiness and dreams for the future.

One fateful day, Josie was suddenly and tragically killed by an enemy of the Mikaelsons. Hope was left devastated, her heart shattered by the loss of her soulmate. The light that Josie had brought into her life was extinguished, leaving Hope in darkness and despair. She struggled to move forward, her days consumed by grief and her nights haunted by memories of their time together.

Years passed, but Hope's pain never truly faded. She immersed herself in the study of magic, desperate to find a way to bring Josie back. Her search led her to a powerful and ancient artifact said to possess the ability to manipulate time. Hope clung to the hope that she could use this artifact to travel back and prevent Josie's death.

With the artifact in hand, Hope activated its magic and found herself transported back to the past. She appeared in her house, disoriented but determined. The calendar on the wall confirmed her fears—it was the day Josie was murdered. Hope's heart raced as she realized she had a chance to change the course of history.

Desperately, she called Lizzie from the house phone. "Lizzie, where's Josie?" she asked, her voice trembling with urgency.

"She's out with mom. She'll be home in two hours," Lizzie replied, sensing something was wrong.

Hope's mind raced. "Lizzie, you have to keep Josie away from the house. It's important. Please, just trust me on this."

Lizzie hesitated but agreed. "Alright, I'll find a way to keep her with me. Maybe we'll have a girls' night. It's been a while."

Relieved, Hope thanked Lizzie and hung up. She knew she had to act quickly. She prepared everything for the night, setting traps and arming herself with a kitchen knife. She remembered the events of that fateful night vividly—how the killer had broken in while Josie was alone and vulnerable.

As the hours ticked by, Hope hid in the shadows, her heart pounding with anticipation. Suddenly, the sound of breaking glass echoed through the living room. Hope's grip on the knife tightened as she saw a shadowy figure enter the house. It was Landon, her ex-boyfriend, the man responsible for Josie's death.

Rage and determination fueled Hope as she followed Landon upstairs. She watched as he entered the bedroom and stabbed the bed, expecting to find Josie there. But Hope had set a trap, and the light suddenly flicked on, revealing her presence.

"Surprise, asshole," Hope snarled, plunging the knife into Landon's stomach. He fell to the ground, and a fierce struggle ensued. Despite his attempts to fight back, Hope overpowered him, knocking him out cold.

Breathless and victorious, Hope called the police, who arrived moments later to take Landon away. Relief washed over her as she realized she had succeeded in preventing Josie's murder. She returned to the study room, where she had first appeared, and saw a wedding photo of her and Josie. Tears welled up in her eyes as she whispered, "Please come back to me."

Activating the magical object once more, Hope was transported back to her present time. She found herself standing in the study room,
her heart pounding. The door behind her creaked open, and there stood Josie, alive and well.

"There you are, sweetheart. I was looking everywhere for you," Josie said with a smile.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Hope ran to Josie and jumped into her arms. Josie caught her, holding her tightly. "You're here, you're really here," Hope said, tears streaming down her face.

"Of course I'm here, baby. Where else would I be if not here with you?" Josie replied, her voice filled with love.

Hope pulled away slightly, kissing Josie's face all over before finally capturing her lips in a deep, passionate kiss. She cupped Josie's cheeks, savoring the sensation of her wife's lips against hers after so many years. "I love you so much. I can't live without you, my love," Hope said, her voice choked with emotion.

Josie gazed at her with unwavering affection. "Baby, I love you too. You'll never lose me. I promise. This is forever."

Hope smiled through her tears and leaned in for another kiss. After all those years, she could finally be happy again, with Josie by her side.
