The woods surrounding the Salvatore School were dark and foreboding as Hope Mikaelson stalked through them, her senses on high alert. Beside her, Lizzie Saltzman and MG were scanning the area, but there was no sign of the new Malivore monster. They were hunting a monster, a Shape Shifter, that could change it's appearance to look like a doppelgänger.

"This thing could be anywhere," Hope muttered, pushing a branch out of her way. "We need to find it fast. It's already caused enough trouble."

Meanwhile, inside the school gym, Josie Saltzman was pacing nervously. The Super Squad was out in the woods, and she was stuck waiting for updates. She stopped in her tracks when she heard the door creak open.

"Hope?" Josie called, relief washing over her when she saw the familiar figure step through the doorway. It was Hope, or at least, she thought it was.

The doppelgänger smiled softly, her eyes sparkling in the dim light. "It's me," the fake Hope said, her voice low and soothing. "Sorry I was gone for so long."

Before Josie could ask where she had been, the fake Hope closed the distance between them, gently placing her hands on Josie's waist. Josie's heart raced as Hope—at least, the person she thought was Hope—pulled her close and kissed her deeply.

The kiss was intoxicating, warm, and passionate, and Josie melted into it, momentarily losing herself in the embrace. When the doppelgänger finally pulled away, her gaze locked onto Josie's, a smirk playing at her lips. She spun Josie around with ease, her arms still wrapped securely around her waist.

"Don't forget this," the fake Hope whispered.

Josie's cheeks flushed, her heart still pounding from the kiss. "Definitely not," she breathed, her mind swirling with amazement.

But as the fake Hope stepped back, something flickered in Josie's mind. Something wasn't right. The kiss—it wasn't how Hope usually kissed her. It had been too... forceful, too different. Her eyes widened as realization hit her like a ton of bricks. That wasn't Hope.

"Wait—" Josie started, but before she could finish her sentence, the fake Hope smirked again and disappeared, vanishing into the shadows.

Panic rising in her chest, Josie hurried toward the woods, desperate to find the real Hope.

In the thick of the forest, Hope was on edge, every sense tuned to the slightest noise. Suddenly, she felt a presence behind her. She spun around, and there, stepping out of the trees, was her doppelgänger.

"Well, well," the fake Hope said with a smug grin. "Looks like you've been looking for me."

Hope's eyes narrowed, her fists clenching at her sides. "I'm done playing games."

The two launched at each other, trading blows with supernatural speed and strength. Their movements were mirrored, each one anticipating the other's attacks. But as the fight raged on, the doppelgänger smirked, throwing a punch that Hope narrowly dodged.

"Oh, did I mention that I kissed Josie?" the fake Hope taunted, her voice dripping with mischief. "She's a really good kisser. I think I might be jealous."

Hope froze for just a second, her blue eyes widening in shock.

"You what?!" Hope roared, her voice trembling with anger.

Then, fury flared within her, hot and uncontrollable. Her magic surged, and with a growl, she punched the Shape Shifter with all her strength, sending her flying into a tree with a bone-crunching thud.

The fake Hope grinned even as she crumbled into dust.

"Nobody kisses my girl," the real Hope muttered under her breath, her heart racing with a mix of anger and protectiveness.

She was still breathing heavily when she heard footsteps approaching behind her. Hope spun around, her senses still on high alert, but her guard dropped the second she saw who it was.

"Hope!" Josie called, running through the trees toward her. Her face was flushed, her eyes wide with worry.

Hope rushed toward her, meeting her halfway. "Josie, are you okay?" she asked, her voice softening with concern.

Josie nodded, her breathing uneven. "I—I thought it was you," she stammered, her cheeks still red. "She kissed me, and I thought..."

Hope cupped Josie's face gently, her thumb brushing against her cheek. "I'm so sorry you went through that. But it wasn't me."

"I know," Josie whispered, a small smile tugging at her lips. "I figured it out... eventually."

Hope smiled softly, leaning in to press a tender kiss to Josie's lips, this time making sure she knew it was the real her. "Nobody kisses my girl but me. Especially not some fake version of me.," she murmured against her lips.

Josie grinned, her arms wrapping around Hope's waist. "I'll make sure I don't forget that next time."

Hope couldn't help but laugh, the tension of the moment breaking. She brushed a strand of Josie's hair out of her face, her touch gentle despite the chaos around them. "Well, next time, make sure you kiss the real me."

And with that, Hope pressed her lips to Josie's again, the kiss sweet and grounding amidst the chaos.

With the threat gone, Hope looks up at Josie, her lips quirking into a playful smile.
"See? No imposters this time."

Josie grinned, lacing her fingers through Hope's. "I'll take the real Hope any day."

And as they walked off, side by side, the Malivore monster defeated, they knew that no matter what doppelgänger or twisted creature came their way, they'd face it together.
