Hope Mikaelson lay in bed, tossing and turning. Her nightmares were relentless—visions of her family and friends in danger. Desperate for escape, she shut her eyes tight, hoping the horrors would disappear.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a vast, empty darkness. Panic surged through her until a bright light cut through the gloom, revealing a serene scene.
Josie Saltzman appeared in the light, her presence warm and comforting. A soft tune began to play, filling the space with a soothing melody.
Josie began to sing, her voice gentle and reassuring. Hope felt her heart lift as Josie reached out, taking her hands. With a tender smile, Josie brushed a strand of hair from Hope's face. "I'm here," Josie said softly. "You don't have to be scared."
Perfect Harmony- From Julie and the Phantoms
Hope, Josie, Hosie
Step into my world
Bittersweet love story 'bout a girl
Shook me to the core
Voice like an angel
I've never heard beforeHere in front of me
They're shining so much brighter
Than I have ever seen
Life can be so mean
But when she goes, I know she doesn't leaveThe truth is finally breaking through
Two worlds collide when I'm with you
Our voices rise and soar so high
We come to life when we're
In perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-oh
Perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-oh
Perfect harmonyYou set me free
You and me together is more than chemistryLove me as I am
I'll hold your music here inside my hands
We say we're friends, we play pretend
You're more to me, we're everything
Our voices rise and soar so high
We come to life when we're
In perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-oh
Perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-oh
Perfect harmonyI feel your rhythm in my heart
Yeah, yeah, yeah
You are my brightest burning star

In perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-oh
Perfect harmony
Woah-oh, woah-ohWe say we're friends (we play pretend)
You're more to me (we create)
Perfect harmonyThey dance together, moving gracefully to the music. Hope doesn't know why but she pours her heart out through the song . As they danced, memories of their time together floated around them like scenes in a snow globe. Hope saw moments when Josie had confessed her feelings, times they had laughed together, and where Hope had come to Josie's mind to safe her from her dark side.
One memory showed Josie in the therapy box, looking at Hope in the hospital, and another showed Josie's decision to leave town for Hope's sake, a gesture Hope hadn't fully understood before.
The memories surrounded them, and Hope realized just how deeply she loved Josie. The song ended, and they stood close, their faces nearly touching. They leaned in for a kiss, but just as their lips were about to meet, everything began to fade.
Hope woke up in her bed, the dream's beauty slipping away. Her heart still raced with the feelings she had experienced.
Determined to act on her newfound clarity, Hope picked up her phone and typed a message. "Josie," she wrote, "I need to talk to you. I've been missing you a lot. Can we meet soon? I have something important to say."
As she sent the message, Hope felt a sense of hope and resolution. The dream had made her feelings clear, and she was ready to reach out and make things right. She lay back down, hopeful for a future where she and Josie could be together again.
