Saving Hope

This Story is about Hosie as Delena from Episode 2x08 (TVD). Hope is Elena and Josie is Damon.

Hope has been kidnapped by a vampire and Josie and Landon try to rescue her.
They are in Josie's car driving towards Hope's location.

"We're getting close." Landon says as he looks out of the window. "Lizzie said there's an access road just past mile marker 6."
Josie reaches behind Landon's seat and grabs a blood bag.
She takes a sip and smirks at Landon.
"If you want some, just ask."
"I want some." He goes to grab the blood bag but Josie takes another sip. "Aw, that's so sweet. Gonna be all big and strong to save your girl, don't worry. I've got your back. You'll be fine."
Landon looks towards her. "I'm not joking. I've been drinking a little every day, slowly increasimg my intake and building up my strength."
Josie looks at him suprised but handles him the blood bag.
"Does Hope know you're drinking blood?"
He gives her the blood bag again and grins. "I've been drinking hers."
Josies expression fades as she looks back at the road again.
"Hmm. How romantic." She takes another sip. "Since we're road-trip bonding, remember the days when all you lived for was blood, you were the guy who could rip someone apart just for the fun of it?"
Landon looks back at her suspiciously. "You mean when I was more like you?"
"Yes, Landon. Exactly. Back when you put blood into me so I could be a big, bad vampire. Wonder if Hope would be so quick to open her veins for that guy?"

Hope sits on a couch in the abandoned house where she is being held captive. Vampire Jade is packing her bags when her best friend Sebastian comes running into the room in a panic.
"He's here. This was a mistake."
Jade tries to calm him down. "No, I told you I would get us out of this. You have to trust me."
"No! He wants me dead, Jade!"
"He wants her more."
"I can't do this. You give her to him, he'll have mercy on you, but I need to get out of here."
Jade grabs his shoulders to stop him.
"Hey, what are we?"
Sebastian tries to breath normally. "We're family. Forever."
Suddendly they hear pounding on the door.
Hope sees the fear in there eyes.
"Stay here with her and don't make a sound."

The door opens as Jade walks down the stairs.
A man in a suit is standing outside the house.
"Jade. Is there somewhere we can talk?"
Jade gulps. "Yes. In here. You h-have to forgive the house."
"Oh, no. What's a little dirt? I completely understand."
They both walk inside a room.
"So tell me. What is it that gives you the courage to call me?"
"I wanted my freedom. I'm tired of running. You in a position to grant me that?"
The man looks through a book shelf and answers.
"I have complete authority to grand pardon to you and your little pet. What is his name these days? Sebastian. If I so fit."
"I have the girl you were looking for."
He looks at her curious. "Well,show her to me."
Jade takes a step towards him. "Ken, you're a man of honor. You're to be trusted, but I want to hear you say it again."
"You have my word that I will pardon you."
"Follow me."

Hope walks back and forth trying to calm herself down, remembering that Josie and Landon will come to rescue her.
She turns around as she hears foot steps coming closer.
Ken looks at Hope and speeds towards her.
Hope shakes in fear.
Ken grins, "Hello there."

Outside near the house, Josie and Landon get out of the car.
"House should be just beyond those trees."
Josie stops Landon, who is holding a bag with vervain bombs from going any further.
"Wait. Now, I've got a little more experience than you with this sort of thing."

Back inside the house.
They hear glass shattering.
Ken turns towards Jade. " What is that?"
"I don't know."
"Who else is in this house?"
"I don't know.""
Ken quickly grabs Hope by the arm and walks towards the stairs. "Move."

As they walk towards the door they see a figure rushing through the room.
Ken pushes Hope back towards Jade.
He looks around the house. "Jade."
"I don't know who this is."

Another figure rushes down the stairs and into another room.
"Up here." Landon shouts.
Ken gets irritated but walks towards the stairs.
On top of the stairs he hears Josie shouting, "Down here."

Suddendly an arrow flies through his hand.
He tries to pull it out and throws it away.

Josie quickly grabs Hope and pushes her gently agains the wall. She leans closely in to her and puts her finger agains her mouth. "Shhh."
Hope quickly calms down as she looks into her eyes.

"Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me. You can't. You here that?"

In the other room, Landon grabs Jade and closes her mouth with his hand.

Ken grabs a coatrack and breaks the metal pieces and forms it into a dagger.
"I repeat. You cannot beat me. So I want the girl on the count of 3, or heads will roll. Do we understand each other?"

"I'll come with you."
Ken turns around and looks at Hope, who's standing on top of the stairs.
"Just please don't hurt my friends. They just wanted to help me out.
He rushes towards her. "What game are you playing with me?"
Hope suddendly grabs a vervain bomb and throws it towards him.
He screams in pain but it doesn't stop him from walking towards her.

Landon walks down the other stair case and shoots him with a gun. That doesn't stop him either. So he pushes Ken and himself down the stairs and they both land on the floor.
Ken gets up ready to attack Landon but Josie rushes towards them with the coatrack in her hands.
She pushes it right into his heart and pins him agains the wall, killing him in the progress.

She turns around and sees Jade, who vamp speeds out of the house.
"Just let her go." she hears Hope saying.
Josie then looks up towards the stairs and smiles at Hope in relief.
Hope smiles as well and runs down the stairs.

But then her smile fades as she sees that Hope is actually smiling at Landon, who is now standing infront of her.
"Hey, come here. Are you hurt? You okay?"
She hugs him.

Josie takes a step back with a hurt expression on her face.
She sees Hope looking up at her whispering a "Thank you."
Josie fakes a smile and whispers a "You're welcome" back.

Hope closes her eyes and puts her head against Landon's neck, holding him tightly.

This kind of reminds me of that one scene in Legacies 3x11 where Hope turns into a monster and "Landon" stabs Hope into her heart and they have their moment together as Josie watches them being happy.
