In the dimly lit halls of the Mikaelson mansion, a storm brewed—not just outside the ancient walls but within Josie Saltzman's heart. The room was thick with tension, the air heavy with the anticipation of what would happen next. Her family had been kidnapped. Lizzie, her twin, and the rest of her family were missing, and no one seemed to have any leads.

Except one.

The Mikaelsons had captured a vampire who claimed to know something but refused to share the vital information. He sat chained to a chair in the center of the room, his smug grin taunting Josie, daring her to break. But Josie wasn't just the sweet, compassionate girl everyone saw. Beneath the surface, she carried a darker side—a dangerous side, one that had been awakened by desperation and anger.

Hope Mikaelson stood across the room, arms crossed, her brows furrowed as she watched Josie pace. She knew this part of Josie all too well, the side that terrified most but also made her heart race. It was dangerous. Unpredictable. And now, Josie was teetering on the edge.

Elijah Mikaelson, ever the calm observer, glanced at Hope with a subtle smirk. "She's quite impressive," he whispered. "She carries the Mikaelson bloodline well."

Hope's lips parted in a mixture of shock and pride as she watched Josie stop abruptly, turning toward the vampire. Her hazel eyes darkened, a flash of Heretic power flickering in their depths.

"Tell me where they are," Josie demanded, her voice low but filled with venom.

The vampire chuckled darkly, his fangs glinting in the low light. "Do you really think you scare me, little witch?"

Josie's jaw tightened, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel the magic bubbling beneath her skin, her Heretic nature demanding release. She had tried to be calm, to hold onto that last shred of humanity she prided herself on. But Lizzie was in danger. And Josie was done playing nice.

Before anyone could react, Josie moved like lightning. She was suddenly in front of the vampire, her hand wrapped around his throat with terrifying strength. She slammed him against the wall, the sound of bones cracking filling the room as her grip tightened.

Her eyes bled black, veins crawling beneath her skin as her vampire side took over. The softness that once defined her was gone, replaced by a cold, predatory expression.

"As the niece of a former sociopath," Josie hissed, her voice dripping with malice, "I advise you to tell me where my family is. I may be 99% nice, but you do not want to mess with the 1%."

Hope's heart skipped a beat. She'd never seen Josie like this before, not up close. There was something terrifyingly powerful about her, something raw and untamed that sent shivers down her spine—and, to her surprise, something else stirred within her: she was undeniably, inexplicably turned on.

Josie's grip on the vampire tightened, her fangs flashing as she spoke. "I will rip out all your limbs and make you suffer so much physically and mentally that you'll beg me to kill you. But I am giving you this one and only chance to open your mouth and tell me where I can find my sister and the others."

The vampire's cocky grin faltered, a flicker of fear creeping into his eyes.

Josie leaned closer, her voice a deadly whisper. "Otherwise, I'll show you why you should never, ever provoke me."

She let her magic flow, siphoning the vampire's power with terrifying intensity. His skin began to dry, his veins shriveling as she drained him. The smugness disappeared, replaced with panic as he realized what was happening.

"Alright, alright!" he gasped, his voice hoarse and desperate. "I'll tell you! They're... they're being held in an old warehouse outside of town... near the docks. That's all I know, I swear!"

Josie's lips curled into a twisted, satisfied smile, and without a second thought, she snapped his neck with a swift, brutal motion. The sound of the bones cracking echoed through the room.

She sighed softly, turning her back on the vampire's lifeless body. The fury that had consumed her moments ago was now replaced with a chilling calm.

"We know where they are," Josie said, her voice smooth but cold. She glanced at MG and Kaleb, who were watching her with a mix of awe and wariness. "You two, come with me. I hope you don't mind breaking some bones along the way."

MG gulped, exchanging a glance with Kaleb, who only smirked, clearly ready for the action. "Not at all," Kaleb said, standing up straight, the anticipation clear in his eyes.

As they prepared to leave, Josie felt eyes on her and turned to see the Mikaelsons—Elijah, Rebekah, Hayley, even Klaus—all watching her with pride and approval. Klaus gave a slight nod, his eyes gleaming with something that could only be described as familial recognition.

"She truly is a Mikaelson," Rebekah murmured to Hope, who stood frozen, still processing what she had just witnessed.
