Hope lies on the street and admires the night sky until she hears the voice of her beautiful girlfriend.
"What are you doing?" Josie asks as she walks to Hope.
"Waiting for you," Hope replies as she continues to lie on the ground.
"One the ground where we first met?" Josie says as she stands in front of Hope.
Hope exhales while standing up. "I'm feeling symbolic."
She says and touches Josie's cheeks with both hands and kisses her deeply, Josie kisses back immediately.
After their kiss they keep smiling at each other, while Hope keeps her hands on Josie's cheeks.
"It's bad. Isn't it?" Josie asks as her smile fades.
"I believe you own me a dance Miss Saltzmann." Hope says smirking to avoid the question.
"Hope, just tell me. How bad is it?" Josie says already knowing.
"Just dance with me, please." Hope says trying to light up the mood while looking at her with admiration.

"Josie... Josie!" (People screaming and glass shattering)
"Come on, Josie. Hey wake up."
Hope bites her hand and tries to give Josie her vampire blood, but it doesn't work.
"Come on, just drink it. No. Lizzie! MG! She won't wake up."
"Oh my god" Lizzie says
"She won't wake up, I don't understand."
Feeling terrified and helpless while holding onto Josie.
"Get her to the hospital, now" MG says.
Hope takes Josie to the hospital already knowing that her condition is caused by magic.

"Just dance with me. This was supposed to be our big night." Hope says while holding Josie in her arms.
"Tell me, Hope. I can see it all over your face. How bad is it?" Josie says feeling desperate to know what was going on.
"Kai linked you to Lizzie..."
Josie took a step back after hearing that.
"You won't wake up until she dies."
"What?" Not believing what she just heard.
"He won Josie."
"What are you gonna do?"
"You could have just told me what to do."
"I knew what you were going to do." Josie says smiling at Hope
"You knew that the evil, selfish Hope Mikaelson would give up the love of her life to save her best friend?"
Josie shook her head and grabbed Hope's cheek and said "I knew that the love of my life would stand by her best friend even if it meant having to live without me for a little while." She puts her arms around Hope's neck and kisses her with passion, showing how much she loves her.
After their kiss Hope pulls away and says "things are gonna be awfully dull around here without you." staring deeply at her beautiful brown eyes.
"No they're not, Hope, because you're not gonna sit around waiting for me."
Not liking what Josie said to her she holds her hands and says with a small smile "I was thinking of doing the starvation diet. Desiccation makes the time go faster."
"Hope, this isn't going to work if you just shut down. I need you to live your life. Enjoy yourself. I want you to be happy."
Hope's smile faded after she heard what her girlfriend wants her to do.
"Now, how about that dance?" Josie asks with tears in her eyes.
Hope looks at her amazed and took her hands.

They both danced together and expressed so many feelings while looking at each other.
As the dance ends Josie asks Hope the hardest question of her life.
"Are you ready for this?"
"Ready to spend the next 60 years of my life without you in it? Who's ever gonna be ready for that? Hope says holding her tears back while caressing Josie's cheeks.
"I love you, Hope Andrea Mikaelson. Josie says while looking at Hope with so much love in her eyes.
"I love you too."
Hope holds her and gave her the last kiss that she will ever receive in a very long time. She puts all her emotions and feeling into this kiss just like Josie does.
