Hope has turned off her humanity and everyone is trying to get through to her, but to no avail. The only chance the Super Squad has left is Josie.
Instead of locking Hope in the school basement, they lock her in a remote house from which she cannot escape.

Hope wakes up on a couch in a remote house in the middle of nowhere. She looks around in surprise and realizes that the door outside is open.
She tries to escape the house at vampire speed, but is prevented from doing so by a magical invisible wall at the door.
She sighs.

"Test failed." she heard a soft voice calling, a voice all too familiar to her. She rolls her eyes and turns around with her arms crossed.
Josie makes herself known and cautiously walks over to her.
"I knew you would try to escape, so I enchanted the house so you would be stuck here with me."
Hope laughs dryly.
"And what gives me the pleasure of being locked here with you, love?"

Josie is standing at the doorway to the living room.
"Well... the Super Squad, my dad and your family failed to bring you back and now it's my turn."
She approaches Hope until she is right in front of her.
"I'll find a way to get through you. I don't know how yet, but I will and that's a promise."
Josie looks deep into her eyes while Hope looks at her skeptical.
She slowly walks around Josie and checks her out from top to bottom.
"You can try as many times as you want, but it won't do you any good. You'll fail...just like everyone else. And I can promise you that." She whispers the last part in her ear.
Josie starts to get a little nervous from Hope's looks but she holds her ground.
"We'll see about that."
Hope goes back to the couch and lies down. "Whatever you say, love." She closes her eyes, trying to ignore the brown-haired girl in front of her.
Josie grabs her phone and texts the Super Squad that she is in the house with Hope and they shouldn't worry.

"I hope you're just texting to the others that you've already given up, because that would make things a lot easier for you." Hope said with her eyes closed.
"No, as I already told you, I will get through to you.
I won't give up that easily. You know me.
You never gave up on me, so no, I'm not gonna give up on you."
"You're right... I know you too well." Hope replied with an annoyed tone as she stood up and walked over to her.
"That's why I have a bad feeling that I'm going to be stuck here with you for a long time."
She tucks a strand of Josie's hair behind her ear before holding her lightly by the nape of her neck.
"Unless you let me out of this secluded house right now and I'll leave you alone because then you'll never see me again."
Josie shakes her head as she reaches for Hope's hand.
"I'm sorry but I can't let you do that. You're stuck with me now. You should get used to it."
Hope looks deep into her eyes, then down to her lips before letting go of her neck.
She sighs before turning and walking into one of the other rooms and slamming the door.
"Guess that I'll continue ignoring you then."
"You can try." Josie calls after her.
Josie sighs. "I think I'll let her cool down before I start with my plan." She said to herself
She starts to walk to the kitchen and prepare dinner.

After a short while, Hope walks out of her room when she heard noises from the kitchen.
She watches Josie cook from the doorway.
"God why does she have to look beautiful in everything she does... wait what am I even thinking ?" she says to herself. She shakes her head and slowly approaches Josie, who has her back turned to her.
"What are you cooking, love?"
Josie turns around surprised to see her standing there. She smiles at the nickname.
"If you must know... I'm cooking your favorite meal." She answers with a soft smile.
Hope looks at her confused.
"I know that you don't actually need to eat anymore, considering you're fully activated now, but I wanted to surprise you with my cooking skills. But I also have some blood bags here if you prefer them."
Hope chuckles lightly before looking back at Josie. She slowly walks around the kitchen island and stands directly in front of her.
She pushes the hair away from Josie's shoulders and looks her in the eyes again with a grin.
Josie returns the look, slightly nervous.
"What makes you think that I won't drink your blood instead?"
Josie looks deeply into her eyes before she responds with a calm voice.
"Because you would never hurt me intentionally... and you would ask me for my permission first."
Hope stars at her before gazing down to her lips.
She licks her lips.
Josie gulps.
"Dinner's ready... you wanna eat with me?"
Hope looks back up at her. "Sure...why not."
