CHP:- 3 SHOPPING

AVNI'S POV:-

As soon as the car stopped, I looked out of the window and was shocked to see the scene in front of me. We were not in front of a house, but in front of a very big villa. Soon Aru got out of the car, she shook me and I came out of the shock. Soon we all entered the villa together. Aru's parents had gone out for some work. Aru introduced me to some of her other friends and some of her cousins. Soon I mingled with everyone. But Aru's younger cousin Riya did not show much interest in meeting me. I also did not pay much attention and got busy with other things with my Aru. Soon it was time for dinner. I, Aru and her cousins all sat together at the dining table. Now it was time to meet Aru's family. I was very scared, but Aru's being with me increased my courage. Soon all the elders came and sat in their respective seats.

"Aarohi child who is this girl?" an old man asked.

"Dado-sa she is my bestie. Do you remember the one I told you about?" Aaru said.

"Yes I remember. Beta what is your name?" Dadaji asked me.

"Yes my name is Avni Desai". I replied lovingly.

"Very cute name beta". Dadaji said.

This is how I met Aaru's entire family. Almost everyone met me sweetly except Aaru's mother, Riya and one of Aaru's aunts. Aaru told me that her eldest brother is not here, actually he is in Mumbai but hasn't come home yet. Aaru and I decided that we will stay in the same room. Soon we went to sleep. The next morning we woke up early because we had to go shopping. After breakfast, me, Aaru, Aaru's Badi Maa i.e. Amara Aunty, Aaru's mother (Niharika Aunty), Riya, Aarav, Dev, some more cousins of Aaru, we all went out together for shopping.Soon we reached a mall. The mall is very beautiful. Aaru bought sandals and handbags from Gucci, and bought some accessories from different stores. Amara Aunty gifted her a diamond set. Then we all headed towards the dress designer boutique, after looking at 20 to 30 lehengas she chose a lehenga. Along with her, other family members also choose their clothes and give them for fitting. Aru keeps insisting me to buy a lehenga, but I politely refuse her.

After finishing shopping we all moved towards the food court. Everyone sits in their group i.e. Amra aunty, Niharika aunty and Bua ji. Then on the other table there was Vikram, Dev and 2 more boys whom I don't know. On my table there is Aaru, Riya, Aaru's 2 more cousins and Dev. I ordered only a veg burger with cold coffee. While others ordered salad, sandwich, dessert, coffee and many other things. When I was going to take the first bite, suddenly Riya spoke.

"Why are you eating so little? You can eat as much as you want! You don't have to pay the bill though, we will pay. So enjoy your meal, we all know you will never get such expensive food again. So eat it properly. People like you become friends with ROYALS like us only for money. Cheap! Money waster!!!" she said in a venomous tone.

My eyes widened. Why did she say those words to me, was it true or was she just joking? Does anyone joke like that? I can't handle this, so I got up from my chair, and left from there. Not sure what to do next? The last words I heard before leaving were.

"How dare you talk to my bestie like that?" It was Aaru's voice.

I know it's not right to just walk away but I can't just stand there. So I walked towards the back of the mall where there is a beautiful garden. I walk inside the garden then sit on the empty swing. The swing starts moving in a rhythm because of my slow movement. Since my childhood it was my dream to swing on the swing but I had no one to do it with me.

As everyone used to say "You are grown up, let Anu enjoy it". "You are not a little girl who wants to swing on the swing. Look your brother is studying, go and study like him. Don't play".

These were very bitter memories of my childhood. I don't know how long I sat here looking at the sky but when the sky got dark, I looked at my watch and it was 8:30 pm. I panicked seeing the time, and tried to find my phone or purse but couldn't find it, but soon I remembered that I forgot it in the mall. Did Aaru forget me or does she also think the same as Riya? Am I not good that she also left me? I don't know why, but tears welled up in my eyes. I tried to stop them, but they were flowing unstoppable. I am feeling dizzy due to my poor health, I tried to sit still but the dizziness was beyond my control, before I completely lost my senses and fell off the swing, the last thing I heard was Aaru's panicked voice "AVU MERI JAAN" as soon as I heard this, darkness fell in front of my eyes.

AAROHI'S POV:-

As soon as Riya said these words to her, I felt like someone slapped me on my face. I was going to reply to her but before that Avu left from there. But I didn't stop her now I have to reply to Riya first so I said in a loud and harsh voice.

"How dare you talk to my Besti like this?"

I said slamming my hand on the table, before I could say anything else to her, she replied

"You are fighting with me because of her jiji". I was going to reply to her but Dev interrupted me.

"That's enough Riya you already insulted her with your harsh words without even knowing her and here you are arguing with Aaru jiji too. Stop it here, before I tell this to Arjun bhai-sa". His voice was calm but strict. Here seeing the scene Vikram bhai-sa came towards us and asked

"What happened, why are everyone looking so tensed and Where is Avni?"

Listening to him I remembered about Avu, I had completely forgotten about her in this drama. I told everything to Vikram bhai-sa, he suggested that we all should separate and search for her. We all separated and then started searching for her, we literally searched the whole mall but couldn't find her. After trying to find her for an hour we all gathered again in the food court, my Maa-sa and Badi maa have left for the mansion as Vikram bhai-sa said we all will go with him. I also sent Riya and her friends away as I didn't want them to trouble Avu again.Vikram bhai-sa said that someone has seen her going towards the back side of the mall. We move towards that side and try to find her but she is nowhere to be seen. This girl also forgot her phone with me. So I can't even contact her. But like a sign from the universe I see a garden, then I remember that she loves gardens and nature.I tell Vikram bhai-sa and we move towards that side. When I reach there the scene in front of me shakes me to the core. Here my bestie is about to fall from the swing, the swing is small but the stone in front of her is sharp and it can cause serious injury to her head. A scream came out of my mouth "AVU MERI JAAN". I closed my eyes.
