ARJUN'S POV :-

I opened the door of my room and the scene in front of me, shook me to the core. Here she is desperately moving in her sleep, here and there. Without thinking much I come inside and lock the door. In 2 long strides I am in front of my bed. She is saying something also but it's not clear. Her breath is uneven, without thinking much, I quickly remove my shoes and socks and get inside the duvet, which she has removed almost from her body. I turn on the AC and turn off the lights of the room. I hold her waist gently and pull her towards me. Her back hit my chest. I started caressing her hair with one hand and said some soothing words in her ear. But she didn't calm down, she is still thrashing, so I turn her around and pull her closer to my chest. Her head is on my chest, her sobs are muffled now. She is still shivering because of the effect of her sobs. I gently rub her back.

"Calm down baby, see I'm here with you". I said gently. She shook her head.

"No na baba don't do like this. Don't cry my bachaa. No one will say anything to you". Like that I said more soothing words to her soon she again drifted to sleep. I held her like this for sometime until, she was in deep sleep. Confirming she is sleeping properly, I get down the bed only to realise I have to take a cold shower now. (You guys know why).

After showering I come into my walk in closet. I changed into another pair of clothes. After that I work in my study room which is in my bedroom itself. After 2 hours I check the watch and see it's lunch time. So I called the maid and asked her to bring food for 2 people in my room. I come into my bedroom and turn on the lights, I slightly shake Avni's shoulder and she stirred in her sleep but then opened her eyes slowly.

"Hey how are you feeling now?" I said softly but she looked around in confusion and then suddenly stood up from the bed.

Only to lose her balance, I hold her from the waist. I hold her close to me.

"Slowly". I said little strictly.

"Sorry. I will go and thank you for your help". She said after I made her stand properly.

"Where will you go?" I ask her.

"At my father's home". She said lowering her head.

"Why?" I ask her genuinely.I want to know why she has to go back.

"Because I don't want to create any problems here, so please let me go". She mumbled slowly, looking towards the floor. I hate when she looks down like this.

"You're not creating any problems, and you're not going anywhere until our aaru gets engaged. Do you get it". She looked at me with wide eyes, because of my hard tone but nod her head positively.

"Okay now enough talking you should go and get fresh, food will arrive anytime". I said, and she started moving towards my room door when I held her hand.

"Not there. The bathroom is this side". I said and she nodded again.

After 2 minutes there was a knock on the door and I allowed the intruder to come inside. And our old maid Seema jii brings the food. After 5 minutes here she comes out of the bathroom. We both settled on the L-shape sofa. She started serving the plate. I thought it was for her but to my surprise, she passed it to me. I give her a nod and a small smile. She sits quietly and I look at her.

"Why didn't you serve yourself?" I ask her.

"I'm not hungry". She said politely.

"Eat". I commanded her, while holding a morsel in front of her mouth. She quickly opened her mouth. Like this I feed her.

"Bus bus I am full now". She said I nod at her and finished the food. Seeing me eating from the same plate her cheeks turn red. Ohh myy myy here I'm getting angry and this madam of mine is blushing.

After finishing my food, I give her medicines. She shook her head with a pout. And I really want to kiss and bite that pout of her, but I control myself. I glare at her and she takes the medicines properly. After that I make her lay on my bed.

"I will go and sleep in Aaru's room". She said but I shook my head in No.

"Why No?" She ask me innocently.

"Because there are lots of people, in her room and they will not let you relax. So sleep and don't worry I'm in the study. Okay". I said calmly to her and she nod it.

She lay down on the bed, with wide open eyes. I pull the duvet and turn on the AC. Then left for my study room. I start working on my New Project. After an hour there was a knock on the door of Study room. I said "come in". Here comes the princess, with two mugs in her hands. She gently put it down in front of me. I take it and give her a small smile. She stand in front of my desk.

"Sit down Avni". I said, she nod and settled on the chair in front of me.

We both settled in the silence until we finish our tea. Yes she made a ginger and cardamom tea. Usually I don't drink but the smell attracts me towards it and she made it that too. What is happening with me from last 2 days. I really don't know. After finishing our tea get take the mugs and left after 10 minutes she again come inside and start playing with her fingers. Looking nervous as hell. I like it.

"What happened Avni? Do you need something?" I ask her softly, she look at me and blink her eyes.

"Then say what you need? I will bring it". I said.

"Actually I need a drawing book and pencil, so I can draw". She said softly.

"Avni you need rest, if you draw it gives pressure to your eyes". I said but what she did, she pouted again while showing her puppy eyes 👀.

"Avni". I said sternly, she immediately look down on the floor. While tears roll down from her eyes 👀.

"Acha okay. I will bring one for you. But sit here and make designs. And one more thing don't pressurize your eyes, if it hurts you will keep it aside. Promise me". I said and she nod.

"Words Avni". I said.

"Okay promise". She said with big grin.

I call Vikram and ask him to get a Sketch book for her. Until he bring the book, I ask her to read something and she agreed, saying she love books. She roam in my study and took a book related to Psychology. She settled herself in front of my desk. It's been half an hour she is reading, soon she laid her head on the table. After a while she close her eyes slowly. I take the book out of her hands and slowly open the door. Then take her in my arms so slowly. And make her lay down on the bed, while getting up I see her hairs are stuck in my shirt button, I slowly try to remove it. While removing her hairs, the door of my room open with a thud. It break Avni's sleep, and she open her eyes wide open. I turn around to shout on the intruder. But seeing the person in front of me, make me shock.

This chapter contains 1306 words. It's a long chapter and it takes a little longer. I hope you will understand how much time it takes for me to write two novels at a time and will support me.
