"You best mussu," Vedika said in her broken language, while Anya smirked at Avni.
(You're the best mussu.)

Avni stepped forward and picked Vedika up in her arms. She sat far away from Anya, keeping Vedika on her lap.

"Mumma will feed you today. Bahut din ho gaye, Mumma aur Vedu ne time spend nahi kiya saath mein," Avni said, beginning to feed her.
(It's been so long since Mumma and Vedu spent time together.)

"Mumma, no talk me. I'm angry with you," Vedika said in her broken language.
(Mumma, don't talk to me. I'm angry with you.)

"Bachaa, your Mumma was busy with work. But now Mumma's time is only yours," Avni whispered, kissing her forehead.

That day, Vedika didn't show any tantrums. They spent quality time together, and Avni managed to make her forget the past days when she had unintentionally ignored her. Avni hadn't had a choice—those threats had terrified her. That night, they slept together, and after so many sleepless nights, Avni finally found peace in her daughter's arms.

Avni woke up to find Arjun's bag in the room, which meant he was back. She asked him about his sudden departure, and they talked while playing with their daughter's hair.

Three Months Later

Avni continued receiving threats from that unknown person, but she couldn't tell anyone. She knew someone was keeping a close eye on her. Once, she tried to confide in Arjun, but the very next moment she heard a heart-wrenching scream from the garden.

She ran outside only to find Anya lying on the floor, her head badly injured after slipping. But Avni knew it wasn't an accident—she had received a text from that person just before. From that day, she never tried to tell anyone again.

In these months, one good thing had happened—she had grown closer to Arjun. They spent sleepless nights together, Arjun loving her unconditionally. He didn't let her sleep until dawn, and she didn't stop him either. She wanted to feel him more, as if something inside her warned that she was drifting away from him and her daughter.

Anya had also grown closer to Vedika and now stayed at Arjun's villa. At first, Arjun didn't want her there, but seeing the bond between Anya and Vedika, he stopped himself from sending her away.

Vedika, however, had become cranky at times, screaming at everyone. Yet she spent time with Avni and rebuilt the bond they once had. Sometimes she slept between her parents, and they gladly accepted it, cherishing every moment. They often went on short vacations or trips together.

Arjun spoiled her a lot, but he was also a strict father when it came to manners and guidance. He remained busy with his business and kingdom, unaware of the threats Avni was receiving. She stayed silent, and though he noticed, he didn't press her. Shekhar was in America, handling a new venture, so he too remained unaware of the threats.

Avni was sitting in her cabin, working as usual, when suddenly the door burst open and Arjun walked in. He stood in front of her, and she quickly rushed to hug him. They talked for some time before he took her somewhere.
