"Avni, from now onwards you will be going to the office with me and coming with me. You will not go anywhere alone especially without me or Shekhar. You will not cook for anyone and stay in the room if I am not in the Mahal. The door will be locked from outside and you will not open it until it's me or Maa-saa." I said sternly, emphasising few words.
She looks at me with wide eyes and then suddenly tears brim in her eyes.
"Yes sir." Saying this she went to bed and lay on it, while covering herself with a duvet. I sit there in shock.
15 DAY'S LATER
I came out of the cabin and went towards the elevator. I took a round on the second top floor of the building. All the employees are working properly. I see my assistant come running towards me.
"Sir Amara mam came just now." He said and I checked the time.
It's 2:30 pm, maa-saa must be here with our lunch as she has taken the responsibility of our lunch for the last fifteen days. These days there are lots of changes in my and Avni's relation, she is not talking to me until it's something she wants to ask or show. She remains quiet and eats less nowadays. I really don't understand why so? But I am always trying my best to have a conversation with her.
"Make her comfortable in my cabin." I replied and he left.
I went into Vikram's cabin and after discussing with him, I checked my wrist watch and saw it was 3:15 pm. I quickly wrapped up everything and went into my cabin. I see Avni is leaning on a table, her eyes are close. I turn to see the lunch box and plates are kept on the coffee table.
I shook my head and moved towards her, but before I woke her up my phone pinged with a message.
"I will snatch what's mine. Be careful Arjun. She will be mine soon, very soon." The message is sent by Amar. How dare he send me a threat.
I will show him, who Arjun Pratap Singh is. I let her sleep and move towards the couch with my laptop to work. After an hour she woke and saw me she is startled. But I didn't react, she left for the washroom and then again started doing her work.
"Avni, let's have lunch." I said looking towards her.
"I already had mine, but I will reheat it for you." Saying this she picked up the lunch box and left the cabin.
After sometime she comes with a tray in her hand, keeping it on the coffee table, she serves my plate. She keeps it on the coffee table and moves towards the desk. After having my lunch I also move towards my desk and start working. I attend 2 meetings also in the evening, one with the investors and the other with Mr. Mehra who is our partner in a new project. The whole time Avni is sitting in my cabin, actually now she works in my cabin only, I had prepared a desk for her in my cabin. So she can be in front of me all the time.
After finishing my work, I see it's already 8:30 pm. Avni must be tired so I move towards my cabin and see her still working. I move towards her and tap the desk to gain her attention. She looks at me with her big eyes, she is wearing glasses today and she looks cute.

"Pack your things, we are leaving in 10 minutes." I said and she nod at me.
After 10 minutes we both left the office, soon we reached Rajmahal and I turned to see her taking off her seatbelt. We get inside and I see everyone is sitting in the hall, even Avni's family is here. I settled on the vacant seat, but she didn't as always. I didn't say anything but suddenly Bua-saa passed me some papers.
"Divorce papers." I voice out but it comes as a whisper.
Avni who is standing beside me, suddenly runs from there. I look and see her going towards the kitchen. I didn't say anything to her.
"Beta signed this, we will take her back from here." Her father said and I looked at him without any emotions.
"Why?" I ask him in a strict tone.
"Because Avni wants you to give her divorce and free her from this relationship." Her taiji said and I looked at her in disbelief.
"AVNI." I roared in my cold voice.
She came out running from the kitchen. Her eyes are red. Maybe she was crying.
"Do you want this from me?" I ask her while I go towards her.
She looked at me with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth. I am praying in my mind that she just says 'No'. She looked down and didn't reply to me. I grab her by her arms, I pull her towards me.
"ANSWER ME AVNI."I roared on her face.
"LOOK AT ME AVNI AND ANSWER." I said and this time she looks at me.
Tears are flowing from her eyes. Her eyes have some emotions. As they are asking me to do something for her. It shows raw pain. I leave her hands.
"I AM LEAVING THIS RAJMAHAL WITH MY WIFE AND THIS TIME NO ONE CAN STOP ME." I said in an authoritative tone, leaving no room for argument.
I hold her hand and drag her towards our room. I leave her hand once reaching inside. I went inside the closet and packed a few things for us, which was necessary and some important things. I know Shekhar will bring the rest of the things. Coming out I see, she is standing still, holding her hand I come out of the room. I ask a staff member to take my bag in the garage and keep it in my car. We move towards the hall, bending we touch dadu-saa's feet to take his blessings.
"You're leaving this Rajmahal but that doesn't mean you are not a King anymore, you have responsibilities of Udaipur on your shoulder. As you are still King of Udaipur and will remain." Dadu-saa said and I nod at him.
