Hey lovelies,
I'm really sorry for uploading the chapter late this time. There's been some construction work going on at my home, and I had to work hard around it. Because of all that, I couldn't properly use my laptop or phone to write.
Thank you for being patient and understanding—it means a lot 💜

THIRD PERSON POV:
They finished their morning routine and went into Choti's room to wake her up. As they entered, they were shocked by the sight before them.
The little princess was already awake, sitting on the bed and playing with blocks. Avni walked over and picked her up in her arms. Choti settled comfortably on her lap and touched her cheeks.
"Happy Birthday," she said with difficulty. A smile formed on Avni's lips.
"Thank you so much, mera bachaa," Avni replied, kissing her forehead.
The three of them spent some time playing together before leaving for breakfast. After breakfast, Arjun went into his study, saying he had some work, while Avni and Choti played in the living room with toys.
An hour later, Arjun returned and noticed the sadness in Avni's eyes. Even though she was playing with Choti, her eyes betrayed her emotions. He sat beside her.
"Kya hua hai jaan? Itni udaas kyu ho?" he asked gently.
(What happened, jaan? Why are you looking sad?)
"Aaru ki yaad aa rahi hai. Kya mai ushe ek call kar sakti hu?" she asked innocently.
(I am missing Aaru. Shall I call her once?)
His heart clenched. "She is out of station for some work. She won't be able to attend your call, but I'll drop her a message so she can call when she gets time," Arjun said politely. Avni nodded.
"Avuuu!" Choti screamed, grabbing their attention.
"Kya hua bachaa?" Avni quickly moved towards her.
(What happened, my child?)
"See maine baya," she said in her cute voice.
(See, I made this!)
"Ohh mera bachaa, aapne toh meri jaan hi nikal di thi," Avni said, smiling. Arjun watched their bond with warmth.
(Oh my child, you almost took my breath away.)
IN THE EVENING
The day passed with laughter and play. Later, Arjun handed a bag to Avni.
"Get ready in this. I'll take care of Choti," he said.
Avni quickly got ready in thirty minutes while Arjun dressed Choti. Avni styled her hair after finishing her own. Arjun sent Choti with Meera and returned to their room. Locking the door, he pulled Avni close, nuzzling his nose into her neck and kissing lightly.
"Arjun, aap kya kar rahe hai? Hume der ho jaigi," she said with difficulty.
(Arjun, what are you doing? We'll get late.)
"Nahi hogi der, jaan. Bas thodi der," he murmured, kissing her neck and behind her earlobe.
(It won't be late, dear. Just a little while.)
Feeling her shiver, he stopped and instead kissed her forehead, resting his against hers. Afterward, he helped her hide the marks on her neck. Then the three of them left.
Arjun tied a cloth over Avni's eyes so she couldn't see the surprise. The drive was long. Soon, they reached their destination. Arjun helped her out of the car, carrying Choti in his arms and holding Avni close.
"Princess, remove the cloth from Avu's eyes," he said politely. Choti obeyed.
Avni opened her eyes and gasped. The RajMahal stood before her.
