THIRD PERSON POV:
"I-I didn't d-do any-th-ing, A-Ar-jun j-ji. I am not ly-ing. Please believe me, Arjun j-ji," Avni repeated, her words trembling with fear and desperation. She stammered over each syllable, her voice breaking as she clung tightly to him.
Arjun tried to pull away from the hug, but she tightened her grip, shaking her head vehemently. Seeing her fragile state, he sighed and sat back down, gently rubbing her back.
"I trust you, Avni," he whispered softly.
But his words didn’t seem to reach her. She was trapped in her own whirlwind of anxiety, unable to process anything. Suddenly, Arjun felt her weight grow heavier against him. Alarmed, he pulled back, only to see her unconscious in his arms.
"AVNI!" His voice was filled with disbelief and fear.
Without wasting a second, he scooped her up in his arms. Five men immediately surrounded them, shielding them from prying eyes as they hurried off the stage.
"Arjun, not from the front. I’ve called the car to the back gate," Shekhar instructed, his voice steady despite the urgency.
Following Shekhar’s lead, they swiftly navigated to the back gate where the car was waiting. Arjun slid into the back seat with Avni on his lap, her fragile form nestled against his chest. Shekhar positioned her legs across his lap to keep her comfortable. Nitin and Vivaan took the seats behind them, while Kunal sat in the passenger seat, and Devraj took the wheel.
"Drive to Singh Hospital, Dev," Shekhar ordered. Devraj nodded silently and sped off.
Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the hospital. Arjun didn’t wait for anyone; he rushed out of the car with Avni still cradled in his arms. Shekhar had already arranged everything, so they bypassed the formalities, heading straight for the private floor reserved exclusively for them.
Once inside the room, Arjun gently laid Avni on the bed as doctors immediately began examining her. The tension in the room was palpable as the six men watched in silence.
After a few minutes, the doctor stepped back and addressed Arjun, his gaze lowered respectfully.
"Sir, madam is stable now. She just needs rest."
Arjun’s voice was cold, his eyes sharp. "What caused her to faint?"
"Stress and anxiety," the doctor replied cautiously before explaining the prescribed medication and necessary care.
"When can I take her home?" Arjun asked, his tone brooking no argument. He didn’t want her staying in the hospital any longer than necessary.
"As soon as she regains consciousness, we’ll run a few tests. If everything looks good, you can take her home," the doctor explained patiently.
With a nod from Arjun, the doctor excused himself. The six men settled into the room, each grappling with their own thoughts. Arjun sat beside Avni, gently caressing her hair and cheeks. Shekhar perched on a stool on the other side of the bed, while Nitin and Vivaan lounged on the sofa. Kunal occupied a single armchair, and Devraj leaned against the wall, his eyes fixed on Avni’s pale face.
"What are you thinking, Dev?" Nitin finally broke the silence, noticing the intensity in Devraj’s gaze.
"I think something’s off with her," Devraj admitted. "I don’t know what it is, but there’s something she’s not telling us."
"I feel the same," Arjun murmured after a pause, his eyes never leaving Avni’s face.
"What do you mean, Arjun?" Shekhar asked, his voice cautious.
