Victoria's heart raced as she approached the door, her emotions swirling like a storm within her. She took a deep breath and opened it to find Caitlin standing there, her eyes filled with a mixture of hope and trepidation.

"Caitlin," Victoria murmured, her voice barely above a whisper as she stepped back to let her in. Caitlin entered, her gaze locking with Victoria's as she took in the sight of her tear-stained face.

"Vic," she breathed, her voice thick with emotion. "I... I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I never wanted to hurt you."

Victoria's heart clenched at Caitlin's words, her own emotions swirling with a mix of longing and pain. "I know," she replied softly, her voice trembling slightly. "But seeing you with him... it just... it hurt so much, Caitlin."

Caitlin reached out, her hand hovering in the air before tentatively reaching for Victoria's cheek. "I never stopped loving you, Vic," she whispered, her voice filled with sincerity.

"He doesn't mean anything to me. It's always been you."

Victoria's breath caught in her throat at Caitlin's confession, her heart aching with the intensity of her feelings.

"You're my best friend, Caitlin," she added, her voice filled with vulnerability. "I don't know what to do without you."

Caitlin's eyes glistened with unshed tears as she took Victoria's hands in hers, her touch gentle and reassuring. "You're my best friend too, Vic," she murmured, her voice filled with remorse.

"You've been my rock. I don't know what id do without you"

Victoria's voice quivered with emotion as she spoke, her heart laid bare in her words. "Not being with you hurts more than this," she confessed, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

Caitlin's breath caught in her throat at Victoria's admission, her own emotions threatening to overwhelm her. She reached out, gently brushing away a tear that escaped down Victoria's cheek, her touch tender and full of longing.

"I know, Vic," Caitlin whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

"I know, and I'm so sorry for causing you that pain. I'll do anything to make it right, to make us right again."

Victoria's gaze locked with Caitlin's, the depth of her love and longing mirrored in her eyes. She felt a flicker of hope ignite within her—a glimmer of possibility amidst the darkness of their situation.

"I can't lose you, I want to try again" Victoria admitted, her voice soft but resolute.

Victoria's heart fluttered as Caitlin's lips met hers, a gentle touch that sent a wave of warmth coursing through her body. She leaned into the kiss, melting completely into Caitlin's embrace.

Caitlin's hand cradled Victoria's face tenderly, her touch reassuring and filled with love. Their lips parted, but their closeness remained, their breaths mingling in the quiet intimacy of the moment.

Victoria gazed into Caitlin's eyes, seeing the sincerity and regret reflected in their depths. "I'm so sorry, Vic," Caitlin whispered, her voice heavy with emotion.

Victoria's heart clenched at Caitlin's words, but she saw the genuine remorse in her eyes. Without a word, she leaned forward, closing the distance between them once more as their lips met in another soft, lingering kiss.

Caitlin's pulled away gently, a soft smile on her lips. "I swear to make it up to you, Vic. I'll watch Gilmore Girls with you for like 5 years straight!" Victoria couldn't contain her laughter at Caitlin's declaration, her eyes crinkling with amusement as she looked at the brunette.

"You hate Gilmore Girls!" she exclaimed between giggles. Caitlin grinned mischievously.

"Yeah, but I love you, and you love Gilmore Girls, so I love Gilmore Girls now," she replied with a playful wink.

Victoria couldn't help but smile at Caitlin's sweet gesture. Leaning in, she pressed a soft kiss against Caitlin's lips, murmuring against them, "Let's not apply this to basketball; I still don't like it."

Caitlin chuckled, her eyes sparkling with affection. "Deal," she agreed, sealing their agreement with another tender kiss.
