Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
We walk into pyramid after Abby yells at us for being too slow and we stand in a line.
"Ladies, we are in Los Angeles, California for the iHollywood competition and you are in the city of dreams," Abby says, "Let's get to the pyramid. At the bottom, Paige and Brooke. You will not be doing solos. You will be in the group number. Next I have Kenzie and Nia, you two have a duet. Then I have Chloe, you have a solo. Then I have Maddie, you will be doing a solo and you are going to do a duet with... Eva," she removes my covering paper, revealing my picture.

____________ Duet Rehearsal
"Maddie, Eva, your duet this weekend is called The Climb. Have you two seen Hannah Montana?" Abby asks.
"Yeah," We both say.
"Then you'll know the song," Abby says.
"Wait, it's actually the one from Hannah Montana?!" I ask excitedly.
"Yes," Abby says and Maddie and I scream.
Abby starts to teach us the duet and I love it! ____________ Group Rehearsal
We've been working really hard on the group so far and it's super fun.
"Come on girls," Abby says, "Girls, I have a big surprise for you. I have a visitor coming to see you and she knows everything about working that stage. Let's all welcome, Laquifa!"
Laquifa walks in and all of us girls get so excited! She starts dancing to the song Nia did her solo to a couple weeks ago.
"Well hi everyone!" Laquifa says, "My name is Shangela. Today, Miss Abby invited me to come tell you guys a little bit about performing, about being sickening, and about really workin' it while you're out there. Maybe I can teach you guys the death drop after this?"
"Yes!" We all say.
"The death drop really is safe, you aren't falling on your back. Here we go," Laquifa says. She does the death drop and all of us are in awe.
"So Nia, at the end, we are gonna have you do the death drop, okay?" Laquifa says and Nia nods. Then she teaches Nia how to properly do the death drop.
Laquifa leaves after a while and we get back to working on the group.
Holly, Christi, Chloe, Mom, and I are all sitting in the lobby with Abby and Gia, talking about Abby's mom.
"I'm gonna go right after the show," Abby says.
"Cause your mom?" Christi asks.
"Yeah," Abby says.
"Is she okay? Is she doing okay?" Christi asks.
"No, she's in the hospital. She has a blockage," Abby says.
Abby starts to cry, so I get up off my moms lap and walk over to her.
"I'm sorry Miss Abby," I say as I go in to hug her.
"Thank you Eva, it's alright. I'm gonna be alright," Abby says, hugging me back. ____________ Competition Day
Maddie and I are getting ready for our duet when all of a sudden, Cathy walks in with her Candy Apples.
"Hi," Cathy says.
"What are you doing here?" Abby asks.
"I have something for you," Cathy says, handing Abby a basket.
"Vivi and Justice are going to be doing a duet together. Also, a little birdy told me that they'd be up against both Kenzie and Nia's duet and Eva and Maddie's duet?" Cathy says and I look at Maddie. We can definitely beat them.
I keep getting into my duet costume.

Abby ends up kicking Cathy out of our dressing room. Maddie and Chloe have to go out to compete their solos, so I go backstage with them in my duet costumes. Maddie goes out to perform and she does amazing. When she gets off, she starts to cry. She's sad that her mom isn't here. Chloe goes onstage after Maddie gets off. Maddie runs back to the dressing room to get her duet costume and makeup done before meeting me backstage. Chloe ends up doing amazing and when she's done, we both give her a big hug.
Nia and Kenzie go to do their duet and they do really good. They look super cute and do an amazing job. Now it's time for Maddie and I's duet. Abby said Vivi and Justice's wasn't very good, so Maddie and I aren't scared. ____________ Eva and Maddie's Interview
"We are gonna take those Candy Apples down," Maddie says.
"Yeah, those rotten little apples don't stand a chance!" I say with a laugh. Maddie and I high five each other. ____________
Maddie and I go onstage and perform our number and I think we do amazing. We didn't mess up at all!
Now it's time for Chloe's solo. I go backstage with her. All of a sudden, Chloe's music starts to play while that Taylor girl is on stage. Chloe and I look at each other and go to find a backstage person.
"They just played my music," Chloe tells the lady.
"They are apparently doing it to the same song as you sweetheart," The lady says.
I help Chloe settle down, but then she gets called onstage. Chloe ends up doing amazing though, and when she's done, I give her the biggest hug in the world.
"You did amazing," I say, "Much better than Taylor or whatever her name is." ____________
Now, we are back in the dressing rooms getting ready for My Pumps, which is our group routine this week. We have to wear really ugly wigs.
We all walk backstage holding hands. We go onstage and I think we do really, really good and Nia nails her death drop! ___________ Awards
"Our second place mini duet goes to Snake Charmer, it's Nia and Mackenzie. And our overall mini duet of the day is The Climb, Maddie and Eva from the Abby Lee Dance Company!" The announcer says. Maddie and I go up to get our award and we hug Nia and Kenzie when we get up there.
Chloe gets first in the Junior solo category for her solo and she beats Taylor! Maddie gets second in the 8 and under division. I thought she should've gotten first, but second is still good!
"For our Junior small groups, third place is going to the Abby Lee Dance Company, My Pumps!" The announcer says and Chloe and I go to get our award. ____________ Eva's Interview
"I think we did pretty great this week," I say with a smile. ____________
