We're in New Orleans this week for nationals and I'm so excited!

"Come on girls, let's go!" Abby yells and we walk in, "Filled with history and you guys are to dance. And you are here to win. This week is nationals."

"On the bottom, Brooke. You weren't here with us last week. Next, Paige. You didn't do what I told you onstage. Your tuck was not high enough. Next, Nia. You worked hard and you were strong in your partner work."

"Next, Kendall. You have some great attributes," Abby says.

"Abby, they were the highest scoring duet," Jill says. Abby nods. "The duet is two people, why is one on the bottom and not the other?"

"Kendall, maybe your mother should keep her mouth shut," Abby says, "Moving on, Payton. Welcome to the team. For this week, Leslie. Next, Eva. You looked great in your group. Your partner work with Kendall was great and you had stamina throughout. Next, Chloe. You know that you were a better dancer two years ago."

"Next, Asia. You were great in your duet and in the group, you were a hot mess," Abby says, "Next, Mackenzie. You won the overall high score, but you fell in the group. On top of the pyramid, Maddie! Overall high score on the duet. It was excellent."

"Girls, we are here in New Orleans to win nationals," Abby says, "The Wicked Witch of the West is here to beat you

"Girls, we are here in New Orleans to win nationals," Abby says, "The Wicked Witch of the West is here to beat you. You are all in the group routine. At nationals, we will be performing a tribute to the Hurricane victims. Eight years ago, Hurricane Katrina devastated this city."

"Now, for my soloists. To be fair, everyone will be learning a solo for nationals. Brooke, you and Payton will be learning the same choreography. Chloe and Eva, you two will be learning the same solo. Kendall and Paige, you will be learning the same choreography. Asia, last week you made some mistakes, you were going to have a solo, but now, you're learning the same choreography as Mackenzie. Nia, you will be learning the same dance as Maddie," Abby says.

That doesn't seem fair. She's obviously going to do a solo that is Maddie's strong suit so Nia doesn't get it...

"Now, I have one duet and it's going to Eva... and Chloe," Abby says. Chloe and I squeal and hug each other.

Another nationals duet!!!

"Your duet is entitled Run to You. It's a lyrical piece," Abby says.

"This is nationals, so if you're gonna be here, and you're gonna be on this team, you are going to be the absolute best that you can be," Abby says and we all nod.

Group Rehearsal

"You're telling the story of this devastating, horrible devastation, this Hurricane Katrina, coming in and leveling everything," Abby says.

We start to learn the group and it's very pretty.

"Five, six, seven, and!" Abby says.

"Chloe, point your feet!" Abby says.

"Eva, straighten the back of your knee!" Abby yells.
