"Did everybody have a good time in Chicago?" Abby asks once we take our places for pyramid.

"Yes!" We all say.

"Let's talk about last weekend. I thought our group dance was beautiful. I gave everybody a challenge with acting, you all did it. Maddie, you did a solo. You beat the boys. Nia, you were a beat behind in the trio."

"At the bottom of the pyramid, Chloe. You are one of the most advanced dancers sitting in this room, but I want more from you. You need a challenge. Next, Nia. You were a beat behind in the trio. Paige, you did a great job in the group. In the trio however, I felt that little Mackenzie was dancing better than you. Not acceptable. Next, Mackenzie. You were amazing in the trio. You did all your tricks great and I think you are improving nicely. Next, Brooke. I thought your part in the group dance was spectacular. Eva, you were amazing in the trio and the group. In the trio, there was no lead, but I felt you held it together and became the lead by how amazing you danced even if there wasn't a special part. On top of the pyramid, Maddie. You beat all the boys," Abby says.

"Moving on, we need to talk a little bit about this weekend

"Moving on, we need to talk a little bit about this weekend. There is going to be a scout from the Joffrey Ballet School. He is looking for kids to go to an audition," Abby says and we all gasp.

"Our group this week is entitled Nip and Tuck. You all have beautiful gorgeous children, so this is a message about our body image and it's a message about people that have work done. It's kinda eerie and dark," Abby says.

"I'm doing two trios this weekend. One of you will be the odd one out," Abby says, "We are doing a beautiful lyrical contemporary trio as well as a high energy jazz trio. For our jazz trio, it's going to be Mackenzie, Paige, and Nia. Our lyrical contemporary trio is going to be Chloe, Maddie, and... Eva. Brooke, you are the odd one out. I want you to focus on the solo I'm giving you. You'll be a shoe in if something goes wrong."

"Chloe and Maddie will have solos. Maddie, you will be doing a duet with Eva," Abby says.

Three dances this week! Yay!

"Moms leave, girls spread apart," Abby says.
____________
Group Rehearsal

"One, two, three, four," Abby says, "Good!"

This number is super creepy and I kinda like it.
____________
Duet Rehearsal

"Maddie, Eva, this needs to be perfect. Your duet is called Getaway Car. It's a winning number," Abby says and we nod.

We start to learn the dance and it's really pretty. I'm so excited to compete it.
____________
Trio Rehearsal

"We only have one day! Let's get to work!" Abby yells.

We start to learn the dance and it's even though the three of us are an odd pairing, I think we will do amazing.

In the middle of the dance, Brooke and Chloe flip me and I think that's really cool.
