Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
We all finally get to come back to the studio, but Kelly, Brooke, and Paige still aren't here. There is another girl here. Her name is Sophia. She looks nice enough, but she's not gonna replace Brooke and Paige.
"Well, well, well, here we all are again," Abby says.
Kelly walks in with her girls, "Here's your contract. Get in there girls."
"Ladies, last week, we went to a competition in Indiana. There were over a thousand people there just to see the Abby Lee Dance Company," Abby says, "While you were all out in the parking lot, Sophia was in here working her butt off. We don't have pyramid here."
"Chloe, Nia, Eva, Maddie, Mackenzie, Kendall," Abby says, "You all realize, with the exception of Sophia, that you are on probation. You are all on the same playing field."

"This weekend, we are going to Ohio. The group routine is called Red Carpet Special and it's a sassy, hot, funky number. Sophia, you are doing a solo called Superstar. You did an outstanding job last week and I wanna see that again," Abby says.
"How many turns do you do?" Abby asks Sophia.
"54," Sophia says.
"Why do I want somebody that can only do 53?" Abby says.
"I would prefer not to do any other solos, but I committed to the competition, so we are going. Chloe, you will have a solo. It's contemporary. You are the national title holder. Eva, you will also have a solo. Eva, your mother is always telling me how great you are, so let's see how well you hold up competing against Sophia. You will be doing a jazz routine," Abby says.
I have a feeling she's setting me up...
"I'm going to direct my attention to the mothers now," Abby says, "I need to see your loyalty for what I'm doing for your children. You will have assignments and you're gonna do a whole lot more than sit on your butts upstairs."
"We have other children and other responsibilities," Christi says, "You are not in charge of us."
Abby ignores her, "Girls, start warming up." ___________ Group Rehearsal
"This is all about being a superstar," Abby says, "Being celebrities, being on the red carpet, everybody wants to take your picture and get your autograph. That's what the piece is about."
"Be grateful that Sophia has come to Pittsburgh and joined our group," Abby says and I look at Chloe, "It's like going from mediocre to flying first class."
We start to learn our group dance and it's fun. ____________ Eva's Interview
"Abby kept talking and talking about how great Sophia is and that without her, we were just mediocre. It kinda made the rest of us feel really bad," I say, "I know I have to work really hard in both the group and my solo this week to prove her wrong." ____________ Solo Rehearsal
