Abby calls us into the studio, "Congratulations, another overall high score win! Yay!"

We all clap.

"I was in Orlando, I had an open call audition, I was in Atlanta and I had another open call. The face of this team is going to change," Abby says.

I look at Maddie. Is she bringing in someone new today?

"I think some of you are comfortable. 'Abby's never going to replace me. My mother walked out of the dance concert two years in a row and I'm still here. My mothers been suspended twice, but I'm still here. My mother walks out of the studio once a year, yet I'm still here,'" Abby says.

I think the last one was aimed at me...

"I'll be right back," Abby says and she walks out of the room.

I look at Kendall.

"I want to introduce Kim and the new Chloe," She says and she comes back in with two people.

The new Chloe?!

We don't need a new Chloe. Chlo is one of the best dancers on the team. She doesn't need to be replaced.

"Go, stand right next to her," Abby tells her. She comes and stands right in between me and Chloe. I look at her.

She is not replacing my best friend...

"They were at the first open call audition in Orlando," Abby says, "This week, we will be traveling to New Jersey to attend the competition Onstage America. Let's start with the pyramid."

"On the bottom, Mackenzie. You got beat. Next, Brooke. Put the phone down. Paige, I'm still seeing technical issues. Next, Kendall. You didn't stick out in the group. Normally you pull my eye a bit. This week, you didn't. Next up, Eva. What happened to that kid? The kid that stepped out on the stage and was right behind Maddie?" Abby asks.

I shrug.

"Next, Chloe. Again in the trio, not perfect," Abby says, "Next, the New Chloe. You were outstanding at the audition. Next, Maddie. You were great in the routine. You worked well with Nia. On top of the pyramid, deservedly so, Nia!"

I give Nia a giant hug.

"This is gonna be a tough week

"This is gonna be a tough week. We have a lot of numbers. Nia, you are not getting a solo. You will be doing a duet with Kendall. I have another duet. The name of your routine is Pieces Together and it's a jazz piece. Paige, Eva, it's been a while since you two have had a duet. You two will be doing a dark contemporary piece entitled We Are," Abby says.

I hug Paige tightly. It's been like two years since we've had a duet!

"The name of the group routine is Why Not Me? In addition to the group and the duets, I have two solos. Old Chloe, you will be performing a contemporary solo called Seeing Red," Abby says.
