Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"So, Kel," Melissa says, "Have you talked to Christi?"
"No, she hasn't called me," Kelly says.
"Megan, have you?" Melissa asks Mom.
"Yeah, we talked for a bit last night," Mom says. Holly says she's talked to Christi too.
"I hope Chloe comes back," I say.
"Me too," Kendall and Paige say in sync.
Chloe walks through the door and I immediately get up and sprint to hug her. All the other girls follow me.
"I missed you so much!" I say.
We all go in for the pyramid.
"They told me that Detroit was a tough city, and well, it was," Abby says, "You weren't the big winners. You got beat. We had a duet that I pulled. If your mother is out of control, you don't dance. We had a trio that won. We've also had a member of the team suspended. It's the last chance before expulsion. Let's move onto the pyramid. Chloe, obviously you aren't on it."
"On the bottom, Nia," Abby says, "You should've expected this. Next, Paige. Kinda got dragged down with Nia. Next, Kendall. You were given a trio that placed first. You were also given a solo. That solo didn't place. Do I just keep giving you a solo? No. Next, Mackenzie. I told you I wasn't gonna put you in the groups anymore because you are the weak link. This time, I thought you were excellent. Next, Brooke. You were good. You pulled my eyes positively. Next, Maddie. You got second. It had been a long time since you had a solo, you did good, but not good enough to win. On top of the pyramid, Eva. You had the overall high scoring solo and you won your trio as well."

"We will be attending Intensity Dance in Florida," Abby says, "Everybody will be in the group dance. The group routine is a contemporary piece. The name of the routine is Money is the Root of All Evil. The costumes are emerald green. Moms, you will be making headpieces, adding trim, and putting money on the costumes. Maddie, you will be doing another solo this weekend. My final solo is going to Brooke. My next routine is a duet with Maddie and Eva."
Maddie and I hug each other. We haven't had a duet in such a long time. ___________ Group Rehearsal
Abby starts rehearsal by having us do a big warm up. Once we finish, we all stand up as she starts to talk.
"Now ladies think about this. It's bluesy. So think of being in a speakeasy or a nightclub," Abby says. We start to learn the dance and it's contemporary and I really like it.
"Five, six, seven, go," Abby says, "Da da da da da da! In!"
We all pull in and get in a line.
"Too late Mackenzie," Abby says, "Look to the side, floor, opposite direction."
