Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"Girls, get in here!" Abby yells as we walk into pyramid, "I think we made apple sauce, don't you? Now, the group won, but that was only one competition. This week, we are going to Starbound in New Jersey. On the bottom, Nia. You made a mistake in the choreography. Next, Kendall. You need to learn to read music and you need to learn to hear music. I'm gonna keep her on probation. Paige, I've seen you do your press better. Next, Mackenzie. This week, you are not in the group, you are going to do a solo. Next I have Maddie. You were okay in the group. Why do you think you are not on the top? I want you to stop resting on your morals. I need you to keep improving. Chloe, you didn't do a solo last week, but you were great in the group dance. People are recognizing you from the music video. Next we have Brooke. You went out there and beat Taylor. And on top of the pyramid, Eva. There were ten points between you and Charlie from the Candy Apples. Great work."
I nod.

"Mackenzie, you are doing a routine called My Parade and it's all about you kiddo. Maddie, this week you are going to be doing a jazz routine called Lights, Camera, Action. Chloe, you will be doing a lyrical routine called Don't Catch Me."
"Chloe's so happy she's having a lyrical solo," Maddie says.
"We will also be doing a duet with Brooke and Eva," Abby says and Brooke and I hug each other, "Your duet is called I Won't Give Up and it's a lyrical routine. Now, the group dance that everybody's in except Mackenzie is Born To Dance and it's about a child being born. There's a little mystery to it. Brooke, you will be featured in this number and you should be the glue that holds this group together. Moms, leave, girls, stretch out."
We start to learn the group routine and it's really interesting. It's a lyrical piece and it's really pretty.
"Up, up! Roll Brooke! Eva, chin!" Abby yells, "Brooke, your knee is bent. Ball change, pliè! Chloe, feet. Paige, you're sickled!" ____________ Duet Rehearsal
"Brooke, Eva, you guys are doing a beautiful lyrical piece. It's called I Won't Give Up," Abby says and we nod.
She starts to teach us the dance and it's very pretty. There are lots of partner tricks which makes it even cooler. ____________ Group Rehearsal
"Tomorrow, we are leaving for competition. We have forty five minutes to work on this dance," Abby says. We start to run through the dance.
"Where is Brooke?" Abby yells.
We all shrug and we keep working on the dance, but Abby's yelling a lot. I think she's mad that Brooke isn't here.
"Eva! Turn the leg out!" Abby screams, "What is wrong with you?!"
Abby goes out and starts calling for Brooke and I start to cry. I tell Abby I'm going to get a drink, but I really go up to the Dance Jail.
I walk over to my mom who immediately wraps me in a hug.
