Today is a great week! My brother beat cancer this weekend and I'm really happy. Mom isn't here for the pyramid because she's with my brother in Florida with my cousin and aunt. They come back the day before the competition, so the Lukasiaks' are taking me to and from dance.
"Girls let's go," Abby yells, "Congratulations on another victory. There are just a couple of things I need to fix. Paige, you were okay in the group, but you know you messed up that whole leap downstage. Kendall, on the grand jete, you did a crossing to the right so we couldn't see if the hips were in line or not. Nia, you did a great job in the group dance. You did not pull my eyes negatively. This week, we are attending Hollywood Vibe. Onto the pyramid. Not even gonna discuss Brooke. Then, Paige. You have to work back up the ladder. Next, Nia. You've been working very hard. Kendall, you are still on probation. Jill, it's a long process. Mackenzie, you were the overall high score winner of the primary age division. Maddie, you got third. Chloe, you won with your solo. Great job. And on top of the pyramid, Eva. You are on top because of how well you did in your duet and the group. I'm giving you a solo this weekend. It's entitled 'Cancer'. I've invited your brother to come along to watch as your piece is dedicated to him because he just beat cancer. Chloe, you will be doing a solo again. Maddie, you will be doing a solo again. And we are gonna do a trio with Maddie, Chloe, and Kendall." ____________ Eva's Interview
"I was very surprised when Abby said Kendall was in the trio with Chloe and Maddie, because normally it would either be me or Paige. The four of us are always mixed and matched in trios together." ____________
"Our group dance this week is a contemporary lyrical routine. It's going to be about a bully. Someone is going to portray our bully. Nia, you are going to be the bully," Abby says and Nia looks really happy that she finally got the lead.
"That leaves me with one more bit of news," Abby says, "I'm bringing in another member. A strong dancer to go up against our bully. Please welcome Payton!"
Payton walks into the room and we all run to hug her. Then Abby calls us all back over.
"Payton, you finally have a place, but you need to prove yourself. You are on probation. You are the new kid on the block. It's a whole new ball game," Abby says.

We start to learn the group dance and it's a really cool number. At one point, Nia shoves Maddie, then she leaps across the stage and pulls my hair. She doesn't really pull it hard and it doesn't hurt. Then, Holly comes in.
"What?" Abby says.
"I have a huge problem with Nia portraying the bully," Holly says, "I know you're gonna say she's just playing a character and I know-"
Abby cuts Holly off, "I finally give your kid a part!"
"I know," Holly says, "I want her to have a featured part. I just want her to be part of the dance."
"Payton, you're the bully. Nia, you're not the bully anymore," Abby says. Then, she sends Holly out.
"Chloe, you are gonna enter first. You are high up on the pyramid. Don't push it," Abby says, "I don't know why your mother says you don't have confidence. You are the cockiest kid I've ever worked with."
