Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
We all walk into the studio, but Abby is nowhere to be found.
"Where's Abby?" Kenzie says.
"Where is she?" Brooke says, laughing.
"She ditched us in Jersey, maybe she didn't come home," Christi says.
"Who thinks Miss Abby is gonna apologize for leaving us stranded?" Kelly says.
"Oh god no," Christi says.
None of us raise our hands. Shocker.
After like 30 minutes of us just sitting there, Abby walks in.
"So," Abby says, "I guess it's welcome back. New Jersey didn't turn out exactly the way I thought it would. Eva, congratulations, you were the overall high score winner. Chloe, you were a very close second. I got half my clean sweep. Holly, you were quite upset with me. I think you assume I was upset because Maddie forgot, and you are absolutely right. That's why I left."
"You yelled at Paige and told her she was stupid, but you hugged Maddie and told her it wasn't her fault," Kelly yells.
"Some kids are special!" Abby says, "You are going to the Next Star competition in LA and those LA kids are good. You all know that. On the bottom, Paige. You did not handle your prop properly. Nia, when we were rehearsing the number, you kept pulling on your leotard. You can't do that. Brooke, you didn't wear your pointe shoes to the audition. Next, we have Maddie. You should be at the bottom. But you are responsible, that's why you are here. Next, I have Mackenzie. You should be proud you are this high on the pyramid. Next, Chloe. You got the Joffrey Scholarship and second. On top, Eva. You got the scholarship and first place."

I see Mom roll her eyes. Of course Abby rushes through the pyramid when I'm on top, but when Maddie's on top she talks about Maddie for like five minutes.
"For solos, we have Chloe doing one, Mackenzie will be doing a solo. Eva, you will be doing a solo as well. I entered a solo for Maddie, but I'm not gonna have you do it. You need to get your head on straight," Abby says, "I'm also going to have a trio with Chloe, Brooke, and Paige. The group is called I Want It Now." ____________ Group Rehearsal
We start learning the group and it's a fun jazzy number.
"Arms Chloe!" Abby says. In this dance, Chloe is the lead. Yay for her!
"Eva, point the feet!" Abby yells. ____________ Solo Rehearsal
"Eva, your dance is called Fight Song. It's a contemporary acro piece," Abby says and I nod.
I start to learn it and it's really fun. I'm so excited to compete this number this weekend. I'm so excited to have another acro number.
"Alright, you're dismissed. I have to run Kenzie's," Abby says and I nod.
"Thank you!" I say as I walk out. ___________ Group Rehearsal
