Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"Isn't there something that says if a teach doesn't come in a certain number of minutes, you can leave?" Christi asks Holly.
Abby walks in a few minutes later.
"Hey girls," She says, "This is gonna be a rough week for me. Broadway Baby passed away." She starts to cry.
I look down. I really liked Broadway Baby. She was a good dog.
"She was lethargic and I knew something was wrong, but I just thought that she had eaten something that didn't agree with her. But, it ended up being kidney failure. She's like my kid," Abby says.
"It's hard," Christi says, "I mean we- It's hard."
I walk up and hug Abby. She hugs me back and then I go back to my spot.
"I'm here. We need to get ready. We are going to St. Louis to Dance Expressions. It's a huge competition," Abby says.
"On the bottom, Paige. The duet. We need, all of us in this room, to be more confident in you. Next, Brooke. You got fifth, that was good, but you didn't win," Abby says, "Next, Mackenzie. You did the same choreography as a 14 year old. Great job. Next, Eva. You did great in your duet. I was very happy with your performance. Next, Kendall. You were great in the group dance. You are good at evil. Next, Nia. Your facial expressions were on point. You told the story. On top of the pyramid is Maddie. You danced for your life and you won."

"Chloe, you are still on suspension," Abby says and Chloe nods.
"The group routine, which Mackenzie is not in, is called My Dream Will Be Your Dream. It has a ton of ballet technique. It's going to be an epic love story. It's gonna be beautiful. Now, we have some solos. Nia, you will be doing a solo. It's called Breaking My Heart. Maddie, you are also going to have a solo. It's entitled Showing You My Heart. My last solo is going to Eva. It is called My Heart Bleeding. Just one more thing I want to remind you all of. St. Louis is the home of Black Patsy," Abby says.
I look at Maddie. Yay.
"So, Maddie, Nia, and Eva, you are going to be going head to head against Nickaya," Abby says and the three of us nod. ____________ Group Rehearsal
"Think of being in a ballroom at a black tie event with a beautiful, handsome man in a tuxedo," Abby says.
We start to learn the dance and it's very pretty. Abby starts crying, I assume about Broadway Baby, and she starts to leave the room.
"I'm going to excuse myself," She says.
"Work on the part," Abby says, "Maddie, count it out." ____________ Solo Rehearsal
I'm very excited because this week, Miss Layla is teaching me my solo and I love Miss Layla's choreography, but I'm a little nervous because I've never competed with one of Miss Layla's solos and I really wanna win for her.
