Blame it on the New Girl

Abby yells at us to come into the studio and we all run in and stand in our line like normal. I stand between Chloe and Nia.

There's a new girl here this week. Her name is Fallon. She seems nice enough.

"Fallon, say hello to the girls," Abby says. Fallon waves at us and we wave back, "This is Fallon and this is her mother Cheryl and they are from near Orlando, Florida. Can you tell us a few things about yourself?"

I won four titles and first overalls for a lot of them," Fallon says.

"And you're eleven now?" Abby asks and she nods, "I brought Fallon here because I'm building a new team. Is she gonna be part of that new team? Is somebody on this team gonna be on that team?"

"Kalani is not here this week, not because she's not a great dancer, but because of her mother. She doesn't understand my rules. Let's talk a little bit about our ninth victory in a row, we are undefeated," Abby says and we all clap, "Nine is fine, but then again, there's ten."

"Let's move onto the pyramid," Abby says, "On the bottom, Kendall. No surprise. You were ninth overall high score. It's only gonna get tougher out there. Next, Chloe. Disappointment in the improv. It's not the same turn combination five times."

"Next we have Nia," Abby says, "You were the first one of the girls on this team to get booted out of the improv. Next we have Mackenzie. You did a great job on the character. You did more facial expressions than everybody else combined. Next, Fallon. You went to an audition in Orlando, Florida with a ton of amazing dancers. I remember that you were a total package."

"Next, Eva. You won with your solo and you won the improv. I think it was very impressive. My only problem with you last week was your facials in the group dance. Normally, you are my go to girl for characters, but little Mackenzie had more facials then you. Normally, you have more than the whole team combined," Abby says and I nod, "On top of the pyramid, Maddie. You looked fabulous in the group and your solo. I thought you danced well enough for first place."

"This week we will be traveling to Ohio to attend Intensity Dance Competition," Abby says, "We will be competitive against the Rotten Apples

"This week we will be traveling to Ohio to attend Intensity Dance Competition," Abby says, "We will be competitive against the Rotten Apples. Kaylee is still on that team and Charlie is still on that team. You all remember them. The group routine this week is entitled Red With Envy. Kenzie, you will not be in it. Fallon, you will be doing a solo this week. I wanna see you deliver. I have another solo, Kendall. I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself. It's entitled Just Rain. My final routine is a trio with Chloe... Kendall... and Eva."

I smile and hug Chloe and Kendall.

Group Rehearsal

We start to learn the group dance and it's contemporary and I really like it. It's kinda intense, but I think we will win with it.

Fallon is keeping up really well so I'm happy with the routine.

"We have two more days before we're going for our tenth win in a row up against the Candy Apples. Got it?" Abby asks and we all nod, "I don't wanna lose... you're dismissed."
