"Come on girls, let's go!" Abby yells and we all run into the studio, "I'm still trying to figure out what the Abby Lee Dance Company needs to do to get back to first overall. We went all the way to Minnesota. I've never been there before and I'm probably never going back. Maddie couldn't even win. Eva placed first two weeks in a row and she lost her streak in Minnesota."
Abby walks over to the pyramid, "On the bottom, Mackenzie. I told you to stay off your foot. I even went and got you a wheelchair. You didn't listen. You were hoping around. This week you are benched. You will not be performing"
"Next, Paige. You did a good job, but I don't want good. Next, Brooke. In the group dance, you moved slow. You looked dead, like a zombie. Next, Chloe. Have you learned your lesson?"
I give Chloe a hug. She's finally back on the pyramid!
"Next, Maddie. You were second two weeks in a row. Next, Kendall. I used your new headshot that you gave me," Abby says and I look at Chloe confused. Were we supposed to have new headshots done? I don't remember Abby saying anything about headshots.
"Do you guys like it?" Jill asks.
"It's beautiful," Mom says, "But I didn't realize we were doing new headshots for the pyramid."
"Kendall's a pretty girl," Abby says, "You have the face, but you go onstage and you don't use it. Next, Eva. You looked spectacular in the group routine this week. Maybe a hip hop solo will be in your future. On top of the pyramid this week, Nia. Your face was amazing. You were Beyoncé up there."
I give Nia a hug.
"This week we will be attending the Power House dance competition in Ohio. I have a rotten feeling that you know who will be there," Abby says, "The group routine is about Rosa Parks."
I smile. I love Rosa Parks and I'm super excited to do a dance about her. Nia is finally going to get her lead!
"She broke down barriers and she united entire races," Abby says, "Don't assume anything. I have no idea who will play Rosa Parks."
I look at Abby. Who else is gonna be Rosa Parks? Chloe? Kendall? Me? It's obviously Nia's part. No doubt about that. I think we'd be criticized very heavily if Nia was in the dance and not portraying Rosa Parks.
"Really?" Holly asks.
Then, Abby gives Holly a whole speech about what Holly is wearing.
____________
Eva's Interview"Abby's lecturing Holly on her style and I'm just like okay Abby, leave Holly alone, she looks amazing, and let's get back to this weeks assignments," I say.
"Sassy," One of the producers says, "I love it."
I smile and then leave to go to class.
____________"Kendall, you will be doing a solo again this weekend. The name of your routine is Look At Me Now. We are going to work on your face. My next solo is going to Eva. It's a killer hip hop routine entitled Renegade," Abby says and I smile. I LOVE hip hop! "My final solo is going to Maddie. We are doing another Maddie, Eva, Kendall showdown. Your routine is entitled Breaking Down Walls. My next routine is a duet. Paige, for years you have begged me to do a duet with Chloe and all this time I've been waiting for you to step it up to her level. I don't have to wait any longer because Chloe, you've slipped."
