We are all standing in the studio, waiting for Abby. Finally, Abby walks in.

"I watched the group number. I saw some superb dancing and I saw some horrendous dancing," Abby says, "Kendall, who's place did you take?"

"Sophia's," Kendall says.

"Did you look like how she would've looked doing that number?" Abby asks. Kendall shrugs. "I'll tell you then. No way."

Kendall starts to cry and I hug her.

"It's okay," I whisper.

"Listen to me, learn this. Every single one of you, when you're in here rehearsing and you keep screwing up, you don't need me to stand there and point out every mistake. Can't you see it in this giant mirror?!" Abby tells.

"At the bottom, Kendall. You worked your way up that pyramid, and now you're right back where you started. Next, Maddie. All for one, one for all. It's about the team. Kendall's there, you went with her. Next, Nia. You did an okay job. I don't see the feet getting any better. Moving up, Paige. You placed in the top five. That's an improvement. Next, Chloe. I thought you stood out positively in the group and you won your duet. Next, Eva. Same thing as Chloe. You did great. On top of the pyramid, Kenzie."

We all clap for Kenzie and I walk over to hug her.

"Kenzie, you are back in the group routine," Abby says

"Kenzie, you are back in the group routine," Abby says.

"This weekend, we will be going to Intensity Dance in Virginia. Your replacements will be at the competition," Abby says.

"Mackenzie, you have a solo. Not only are you in this weeks group dance, but you will be featured in the number since it's an acrobatic routine," Abby says, "Chloe, I know acrobatics is not your forté, but your mother has stood out there and told me on several occasions that you have your standing back tuck. So, that's how the number is going to start."

"Oh no," Christi says, "Chloe is not doing her tuck."

"Oh yes she is," Abby says. Then, she and Christi get into a fight about Chloe's standing back tuck.

"Chloe, you were supposed to do a solo, but after the performance your mother just gave, I'm going to hold off on that," Abby says.

"Okay," Christi rolls her eyes.

"My next solo is going to Eva," Abby says and I smile. Kendall hugs me.

"Girls, spread apart, Mothers, you are dismissed," Abby says.

Group Rehearsal

We start working on some acro tricks. I'm so excited for this number. I love acro!

"Jump up, you gotta jump your feet together," Abby says to Chloe.

"Your hands have to be sharp, boom," Abby demonstrates the hands we are doing, "Eva, you did these in your solo last season, show everyone how it's done." I do the hand thing.
