Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"Come on ladies, let's go! Get in here with those fabulous tans!" Abby yells as we run into the studio, "First, Nia. My heart stopped when you froze on stage. Brooke, you did pretty good. Next, Chloe. The solo was excellent. The trio however, was a little shaky. Next Kenzie, you did great in the duet with Eva. I just need more from you. Next, Paige. You worked through the pain in your foot. Next Eva. Perfect score in your duet. You were definitely the reason that you and Mackenzie got that perfect score. The solo on the other hand... I've seen you do better. And on top of the pyramid, Maddie. I challenged you and you did amazing."

"Each and every one of you are very lucky little girls. You have beautiful homes, you have everything you need. Some kids aren't that lucky. Our group routine is about a homeless child. Maddie, you will be doing a solo. I have a trio. I'm gonna mix things up. These two trios aren't going to be the usual mix of Maddie, Chloe, Eva, or Paige. My first trio is going to be Chloe, Maddie, and... Nia," Abby says. We all clap for Nia. "My second trio is going to be Paige, Mackenzie, and Eva." Paige, Kenzie, and I all hug each other.
"We will be competing against the Candy Apples," Abby says, "I am not going to lose to Cathy or her rotten little apples. Girls, spread apart and start stretching." ____________ Group Rehearsal
"Maddie, you are going to be the lead in this dance. I feel like you have earned it. You have great emotion and will play the part well," Abby says.
In this dance, Maddie is basically a little homeless girl and all us other girls help her. At one point, Brooke lifts her up onto her shoulder and I think that part is really cool. ____________ Trio Rehearsal
"Paige, Kenzie, Eva, your trio is called Sit Still, Look Pretty. You are getting ready for a girls night out and you're having fun and it's exciting and jazzy," Abby says and we nod.
We start sitting on the edge of the stage putting on makeup. Then we get up and start dancing.
I'm really excited to be in a trio with Paige and Kenzie, I think we are gonna do really good.
"One, two, three, four, jump up. Lift Mackenzie!" Abby yells, "Good! Good!" ___________ The Other Trios Rehearsal
Abby has Paige, Kenzie, and I sit in on Maddie, Chloe, and Nia's trio rehearsal and they have to sit in on ours. All of a sudden, Melissa barges in.
"Abby, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but these people are doing it again. My kids and I are leaving and we aren't going this weekend," Melissa says, "Come on Maddie."
"Kenzie, Maddie, come on we are really leaving," Melissa says.
Maddie is standing in the corner, crying and Kenzie is sitting on my lap, burying her head in my shoulder. She doesn't like yelling at all.
"Eva, can you bring Kenz here? Maddie, come on!" Melissa says.
I start to get up to walk Kenzie over to Melissa, but Kenzie doesn't get up and follow me.
