Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"Come on ladies!" Abby says as we walk into the room, "This is the big time. We are here in New York City in the dance Mecca of the world! Let's talk about last weekend. We are not going to win a group dance until everybody in this group is together. Eva, Maddie, Chloe, and Brooke were in sync and danced together. Nia, Paige, you were a beat behind. Let's get to the pyramid."
"On the bottom, Paige. Did you correct the arms? Yes. Did you put the phone away? No," Abby says.
"She gets no credit for doing her back tuck or her press?" Kelly says.
"Credit?" Abby says and she starts clapping for Paige. Well, I guess she's more clapping at Paige.
"Next, Mackenzie. You can't be ahead in a trio. Next, Chloe. Time to face the music. You forgot part of your solo. Next, Nia. You hurt your foot but you kept dancing. Next, Brooke. You did great in your trio and you guys got second. Next, Eva. You were amazing in the trio and the duet. On top again is Maddie," Abby says.

"This Friday, you will be going to an audition at Joffrey School. Only a handful of people get scholarships. All of you could get it, three of you could get it, one of you could get it, or none of you could get it. We don't know what's gonna happen," Abby says, "We will work on a ballet combo this week. Moms, I need you to go to the store, get leotards, get leggings, get hair ties, get whatever you need to make them look like ballerinas."
"We are also going to a competition this weekend. We will be attending Starbound in New Jersey. Our group routine is about a very serious topic. Each one of you is in jail. It's dark and it's gonna be fun," Abby says. ____________ Eva's Interview
"Last week we were getting plastic surgery, and now we are in jail? What is Abby thinking?!" I laugh. ____________
"Chloe, you just came off a solo, you forgot your routine. You gotta get right back on that horse. You are going to do a solo. Maddie, you will be doing a solo. Eva, you will also have a solo. We are back to the OG three soloists because I want a clean sweep and these three can get me my clean sweep," Abby says. ___________ Ballet Rehearsal
"Pick out something from one of your solos. Something that is amazing and that you do better than anyone else does. Like Eva, you can do your fouetté turns. I have not worked with a student in years who does them better than you," Abby says.
I didn't think they were that good... clearly Abby likes them though.
"I don't think you girls understand how important this is," Abby says, "You cannot go in there and look like a slacker. You are going in front of people who have had great careers and you don't wanna walk in there and be the big joke that they're gonna laugh at when they get home tonight." ___________ Eva's Interview
"I think Chloe and I are the best at ballet on this team. I take ballet privates with a girl named Layla every Tuesday and Thursday so I have lots of training. I really like ballet and I wanna take more in the future," I say. ___________
