~You talk of the pain like it's all alright, but I know that you feel like a piece of you's dead inside~
Eva Carter, a young girl with a passion for dance, auditions for the reality TV show 'Dance Moms' and makes it on. Will she win or will she lose?
"Let's go!" Abby yells and we all run into the studio, "Did you miss me?"
"Yes!" We all say. We had a long break and now, it's time for a fresh start.
"While you guys were in the studio, I was doing Abby's Dance Competition," Abby says, "All of you had the opportunity to come and see me in LA. Maddie was the only one who came out."
Maddie went? She wasn't supposed to. All the moms made an agreement that they weren't going to go to LA for AUDC.
"I know who has been in class and I know who hasn't been in class," Abby says.
"On the bottom of the pyramid, Brooke. The faculty here didn't see too much of you over break," Abby says.
"I was recording a CD so I was gone for a week or two," Brooke says.
"Next, Paige. Do you think you have improved?" Abby asks.
"Yeah, I think my turns have been getting better," Paige says.
"Next, I have Kendall. Do you think you've been improving?" Abby asks.
"Yes," Kendall says, "I have a private with James every week and he works on my turns and he says they've been getting much better."
"Next, Nia. What about you?" Abby asks.
"I've been taking four extra classes every single week," Nia says.
"Next, Mackenzie. You didn't win. You let Asia beat you. It's your face and your confidence," Abby says, "Moving on up, Chloe. You were given the same solo as Maddie and Eva. You got third. I thought you danced better than third. Next I have Eva. You were given the same solo as Maddie and Chloe. You danced beautifully, you looked confident, and they announced you as the winner. The scores were not right. You did not win, you were second. You were a good sport, you got up, hugged Maddie and gave her the award. That's what I like to see."
Well, it did bother me. A lot. I just didn't show it.
"Next, Asia. Asia is not here. Asia will be back next week. On top of the pyramid, Maddie. Congratulations Maddie. You gave a flawless performance! When they announced Eva as the winner, you were thrilled for her!"
But she fell out of her turns. That's not flawless... and she was upset that I won. She almost cried backstage.

"This weekend we are traveling to New York. The competition is Intensity Dance. Let's move on to this week's assignments. Maddie, you will be doing a tap solo. Mackenzie, you will also be doing a solo. You will not be in the group dance. My next solo is going to Chloe. You will be doing a hip hop solo. My final solo is going to Eva. You will be doing a musical theater solo," Abby says.
Musical theater? That's probably not gonna end well. Last time I did musical theater, it wasn't great... Why does Maddie get to do tap? Chloe has hip hop which is my strong suite, not hers and I have musical theater which I'm not good at. Maddie has rap and she excels in tap... This is just another week of Chloe and I being set up to fail because we aren't Maddie Ziegler.
