Crowds were typically a strange thing to see in the middle of the week. If it weren't for the fact that it was summer, then he would have considered scheduling less staff to come in on the weekdays. But the heat seemed to have a certain affect on people like this. Melvin always found himself with more things to do, especially this time around. It was great for passing time before the main event of the night.

There were just some people who don't like to wait.

"I need to talk to you," The man ran over to him the second they locked eyes. It was only a brief second too. But Melvin couldn't help but get every opportunity he could to look at that pretty green gaze. Even if he looked upset, he drew Melvin's eyes.

"What is it?" He asked while pouring a drink. He was helping a thousand different people that night, while also trying to explain to some new clients the benefits that his club had to offer. Thankfully, they were patient enough to wait.

He didn't want to wear out that patience, though.

"Can we make it sooner?" Those green eyes pleaded with him. There was something in that well defined face that seemed troubled. It made Melvin curious. But he couldn't stop the world for one man. And he couldn't stop his business for him. That's not how things worked.

"It was scheduled for ten," Melvin told him, handing the customer next to him their drink. "Just because you came early doesn't mean that you still don't have to wait like everyone else."

"But it's an emergency!"

Melvin had to try hard to keep a straight face with that. That had to be the funniest thing he had heard someone say about their private rooms.

"If you're having a true emergency, call 911," Melvin told him. "Otherwise, you have two hours until your private room. Be nice to my employees while you wait."

If it were slow, Melvin might have taken him up on that offer. Their sessions allowed him to blow off steam too. Whether he liked to admit it or not, he was looking forward to that night. It was his main event. The days leading up to it were long and dull. He hadn't had someone he truly enjoyed being in the private room with for a long time. It was perplexing to him. Melvin wished that he could have more time to think about it.

There was much control to be had for that night. The crowd of people just kept growing, along with the tasks the staff had to do. He had to call people into work just to handle the workload without overwhelming everyone. Melvin was lucky that most of them loved their jobs.

Orders were being placed, private rooms were being rented a month in advance, and everyone was asking to speak with him. At this point, he might have to open the availability of his rooms. There were many people who were touring for the events that always took place this month. Pride was full of fun. It was a shame that Melvin was too busy working most of the time. He remembered when he first took Anton. It was funny watching him squirm learning about some of the things shown in those booths.

There was very little time to entertain his thoughts. The frustration that he buried was starting to bubble up. He needed things to calm down if he was going to be able to start that session in time. Out of all the days to be extremely busy, life had to make it start the one day he had plans.

Life was such a tease like that.

"We offer many options for our private rooms," he explained to another couple. "You can look on the website for our prices. There's also plenty of reviews."

"Which room would you recommend?" One of them asked. They were obviously here to party, and Melvin was sure that it was going to be costly, what they wanted to rent his rooms out for.
