He slept the entire day. It was the best sleep that he had his whole life. Mateo swore he barely stayed awake in the cab ride home. He swore, he would have just curled onto the floor of that room that he was in and fall asleep there if Melvin let him. Instead, he was gently helped out and into the little cab. Then he somehow managed to get himself into his own bed before passing out.

Now he got what people saw in this kind of stuff. Not only was that the best sleep he ever had, but Mateo had never gotten so turned on from a kiss that he came from it. There wasn't even any friction. The man had just teased his body so much that night that all it took was one thing for him to explode.

Mateo had never woken up so relaxed in his life, either. Sure, he was sore in some areas that had gotten a pretty good beating, but it felt like his mind was actually able to relax. There was no more worrying, or guilt. It was just blank, like when he was younger. Mateo missed those moments when his mind would go blank. Ever since he had gotten dumped by Anton, he had never had a blank mind. It was always buzzing with something that he couldn't exactly pinpoint.

Now all he could think about was Melvin. Mateo had tried hard to fight off his fascination of the man, but it was clear to see that wasn't going to stop any time soon. It was so addicting, being alone in a room with him. Mateo wished he could spend every damn night with him. If he had the money to, he would pour all of it into making him stay with him.

Those were some insane thoughts. Mateo wasn't sure how truthful it was, but it was fun to fantasize right then. He wondered if he would ever consider having him tied up to a bed. It would be hot to see him from that angle. Especially if he was dressed just like that morning.

It would be too good to ever actually happen.

There was no way that he could ever convince the man to do anything other than be in those rooms. Mateo had to pay for it, which he guessed would be alright. It wasn't like it broke the bank at least. He was glad that Melvin was giving him a discount. Now he just had to call and figure out a time when he could schedule the next session.

Mateo frowned after that. There was a lot of people that night that were talking about those rooms, and Melvin was trying to sell the idea to them. What if he didn't have any open by the time he asked? It made him feel bad, realizing that the owner of the strange night club was probably not holding a spot for him. It made sense, from a business standpoint.

It was just something that hurt him. And Mateo didn't exactly know why it did.

He had gone to get some food after picking up his car when he bumped into someone again. It was the person that he wanted to see the least. Mateo tried to avoid him, but of course, the idiot saw him immediately.

Great.

"Mateo!"

He had to say, he looked different at least. Wearing jeans out in this weather was the stupidest idea Mateo could think of. He looked so happy, too. It made the look of hurt he saw in the man feel sweet. He wanted to see the hurt in that face. He shouldn't even feel hurt after all of this. It wasn't like he was the one that had left.

"Hey!" Lucas kept on going towards him, rushing through the crowd. "Come on, Mateo! I just want to talk to you!"

This was going to be so dumb, he could already tell. But if he didn't stop now, then he was never going to be able to go out anywhere in public without worrying about this guy being around. Mateo seriously didn't think that he was going to stay in this city. What happened to his family? Lucas had always talked about them when they were bored traveling together. Why would he suddenly want to stay here? Florida was super far from his family, if he remembered correctly.
