"That counts, right?" Benny looked back to Will and Obasi.

They hadn't really watched what had happened that morning, mainly out of respect. Instead, Velvet told them what happened without the dirty details.

"Definitely," Will nodded proudly. "It's a big step up for the both of them to admit their love for each other."

Mateo had been the type to always hide his emotions, following his lustful thoughts rather than his feelings. And Melvin was just the type to keep everything hidden, keeping everyone at a distance so they couldn't see the real problems that he had. The fact that both of them got close enough to say that they 'thought' they loved each other was an achievement in Will's book.

"No, it doesn't count," Obasi folded his arms. "Saying that only means that they're getting closer. Neither of them have opened their hearts enough to admit their true feelings. They're just playing it safe."

"That's how this kind of love goes, Obasi," Will smiled, taking his arms and trying to step to an unknown song. "It's like a slow dance. You start with one step, then take another, and another. Pretty soon you're swinging around the room."

"You still haven't stopped your love for dance," Obasi shook his head, finally freeing himself from the man's grip. "This might be a slow dance of love, but our jobs are to quicken it up a bit. These two aren't going to solidify their relationship until they start making some big commitments."

"Well," Velvet put a finger to her chin. "Mel has already let Mateo stay at his place. And, trust me, he doesn't do that often."

"And Mateo basically follows him around everywhere," Benny said. "Time is quite the commitment, you know."

"It might not be if you have plenty to spare," Obasi told him. "These two aren't going to realize how serious they are for each other until they actually start talking about their feelings."

"I think they're getting pretty close," Will said. "I mean, they seemed to go from 0 to 100 in their relationship really quickly as is. For all we know, it could just take one more night, or a day or two."

"I hope it's fast," Cameron rubbed their face. They had been there the whole time, listening to what everyone had to say. They all made some great points, but the truth was that this relationship was on a timer, and Cameron wasn't sure when that alarm would go off.

"Why aren't you happy, Cam?" Benny asked, concerned for the cupid. He didn't know them for that long, but he was starting to understand them a little more. Cameron was calm, but always worried about their clients. It was nice to see someone who cared so much about their work, especially as a cupid. Benny and Will always did their best, but Cameron actually got the chance to spend years with these people, getting to know their strengths and flaws. They actually got to help them get through many mental barriers, and to accept themselves.

Benny and Will were just the basic ones that helped two individuals fall in love. This opened his eyes to a lot more.

"I'm just," Cameron sighed. "I'm worried about Mel. He's still sick, I know it, and he's going to try and hide it from everyone, just like he always does."

"Have you helped him get through something like this before?" Will asked.

"No," Cameron shook his head. "The last time he got sick it was the flu, and he stayed away from the doctor until Georgie and Devon found him passed out on the floor."

"I always thought it was weird that he was so against going to a doctor," Velvet said. "His whole family is full of them."

"Well," Will tilted his head to the side. "I can imagine that being a little daunting. Especially if you don't feel comfortable around one of them."
