He wondered what happened to make this man so desperate this time. It wasn't often that Melvin was caught by surprise. Those lips tried to take control of the situation. It was as if they had forgotten how this agreement worked.
It wasn't until he pulled apart, flipping the both of them to pin Mateo to the door instead, that he saw the trouble in those eyes. They had so many emotions going through them. Most of them were focused on the moment right then. His body leaned into his touch, bending to his every whim. Only a fleeting feeling could be seen in those green eyes that weren't about him.
He didn't like that. If he was going to get Melvin's full attention, then he should get the same. It was only fair, after all.
"You aren't going to have a fleeting feeling about someone else," he demanded. "Do I make myself clear?"
"Crystal," Mateo answered, looking more than thrilled about being pinned to the door. "You act like I ever could."
He wondered if this man knew just what he was doing. Melvin was lucky that an old friend came over to help with the rooms, or else he wouldn't have time to explore his own fascinations. Cameron was good at their job, although they seemed like a sub anywhere outside of those private rooms. It was a fun surprise.
Now he had some free time, but that didn't mean that Melvin didn't have work to do. None of the private rooms were empty either. He didn't have a chance to save one for the two of them. Mateo usually waited a few days to come around again after a night like that.
They couldn't stay in the storage room. He shouldn't have brought him there in the first place. He had honestly thought it would take a few moments just to get out what he had to say. He really should know better by now.
Nothing was quick with this man.
"Come," he ordered, pulling him away from the door. As soon as there was room, he opened it, a hand still on the man's arm. It was muscular, yet it still listened to Melvin's grip so easily. He knew that the man was only obedient right now because he was getting something he wanted. That was okay, though.
It showed that he could be trained, in the very least.
He walked further down the employee hall, ignoring the few faces watching them. Most of his staff weren't in that day, just the skeleton crew that wished for overtime. They weren't going to get their normal customers for a few more hours. The sun was still out, and their customers were like vampires when it came to light. Most of them only came when the moon was high in the sky.
Mateo didn't say a word as he walked with him. He just kept his gaze forward too, not looking around. Even with his obedience, Melvin knew that he was confused when they passed the private rooms. Every door had a sign that showed it was occupied.
It didn't take long before they got to the room he was planning to use. It was the only one that he could never rent out to anyone. It had plenty of things in it that he could use, but it wasn't exactly designed for the craft.
At least, not to customers.
"Is this your office?" Mateo asked as soon as the door closed.
"Yes," he answered, shoving him over to the little closet he had. "I didn't say that you could ask questions, though."
His office was smaller than most would think. Melvin was the type of person who believed in using as much space as possible for the clients. His office was just what he needed to get his work done. The only big thing in there was his desk, and that was because he had gotten it as a gift. The beauty was made out of pure wood, with ample foot space. That, along with a comfortable chair, and it was just what he needed in his office.
