"Oh, how I hate the Fate Department," Sarah groaned, rubbing her forehead. "I swear, if I see someone from there, I'm going to punch them for putting us through that."

"To be fair," Will handed her a coffee. "We didn't exactly ask anyone from that department what was going to happen."

"Like they were going to answer!" Sarah rolled her eyes. "They're so cautious about things like that. They keep everyone's death a secret. And then they won't let us interfere with it."

"I'm just so glad that it's not cancer," Cameron said. Their face was in their hands as the weight of the past few days finally lifted. They would have really hated it if things had turned worse.

Will had a good plan, bringing all of Melvin's friends and family. Cameron was surprised that he started with Georgina and Divine, but the two of them were the perfect people at the job. All Cameron had to do was go to the club and talk to some of the workers and they immediately started talking about pulling together to get something for him. Alex had decided to visit, but the rest thought it would be too much to all come at once. Instead, they all got a card and some gifts to send over.

That club was all one big family, even with its problems. So many troubled people had come into that club, and had come out much better than before. Mateo was a great example of that, even though his case was more unique than the normal. All of those workers had been worried about Mel, though. Cameron didn't blame them.

Will and Benny were the ones who got the rest of his family, mainly the blood family that cared about him. Mel was horrible at realizing that people actually cared for him. Cameron had spent so long trying to get him to realize it. That was one good reason for Mateo being matched with him.

"We all are glad, Sweety," Velvet put a hand on the cupid's shoulder. Then she looked over to Will. "Are they going to get him some medicine for the bronchitis at least?"

"Hmm?" Will looked up from his tablet. Those caramel eyes had been distracted by whatever was on it. He was in the corner of the booth they were in. It was the first time she had seen him so quiet.

"What are you watching?" Velvet raised a brow, smiling. There was a sparkle in those eyes that piqued her curiosity. Will was a cupid that seemed open, but was more closed off the more you got to know him. It just made her more curious about him.

"Nothing," he said, pressing something on his tablet. "What were you asking?"

"If Mel was getting some medicine," Cameron asked, glancing over to Obasi, who had decided to sit right besides the cupid. Obasi gave Will a knowing look, but otherwise, didn't say anything. Cameron was getting curious about this now too. "Did we miss something?"

"Oh, yeah!" Will said, pressing some more buttons on the tablet. "They're giving him some medicine for it. Vlad is going to bring it to him."

It was nice that Mel had a family that would do things like that for him. He was very lucky to have a doctor in his family that was willing to do house visits and deliver medicine. Will wasn't sure how he was able to get away with it considering how many laws were in place regarding medicine and health.

"That's good," Cameron said. "Hopefully he'll recover after a week, then."

"Yup," Will said, looking at the screen sadly. "That's true."

He was finally showing them the screen, watching Melvin as he spoke with the visitors that came over. They were all looking so happy that it wasn't cancer. Anton looked the most relieved. He wished that they could share that happiness with him sometimes.

"Why do you seem sad?" Cameron asked. "This is supposed to be a good thing, Will."

"It is," he answered. "And Mateo and Melvin had never been more in love than right then." He was happy for them. Their love was unorthodox, but still beautiful. Will loved that he could spread love. That was why he enjoyed his job so much.
