Thanks again to anyone who takes the time to read this.

This next chapter was not going to be in the story, so I had to go back and add it, but I was out eating with a friend, and heard a couple songs and hearing them brought up memories from when I was a kid, and I went home and listened to the songs again, and then got the idea for this chapter. I went back and added it.

As I was writing it, it gave me an idea for what to do to end the chapter, that I didn't originally have.

My oldest brother was 17 years old when I was born, and moved away and lived in a different state when I was 2, but my earliest memories of him were when I was 5. I used to write to him after I learned to write, and he would write me back.

Each summer when my dad could take a vacation, we always went to see my brother, his wife and their babies.  I was an aunt when I was 5.

He loved all kinds of music, and he would let me have blank tapes, and give them to me to keep, and let me record his albums that he had collected.  I'd come home with several tapes of all the songs that I liked.

He was a big Elvis fan, Elvis being his #1 and so I liked Elvis because he did.

It wasn't an Elvis song, but one of the ones that I actually didn't like that I heard at that restaurant, but it made me think of my brother, and made me laugh because he knew that I didn't like the song and neither did his kids, so he would play it in the car and sing it.

He passed 2 years ago, so it was good to hear that song, and have the memories.

My mom passed 3 years ago, and she had her favorite singer, that when I was little, she was always playing, so I ended up liking his songs.

Also growing up, one of my best friends that lived across the street, we were 3rd grade, and she had 10 brothers and sisters, her mom had 5, her dad had 5, then they met and had her. Most of them were in high school, so she knew their friends.

We used to spend the summer at the swimming pool, and my mom or her mom would take us at 12 and pick us up at 5.

Because her sisters and brothers were in high school, the head lifeguard, who was also the assistant manager was friends with both her brothers and sisters.

He used to let us harass him lol.  Of course, he was 18 and we both thought he was so cute, he had a good tan, big shoulders, blonde hair, blue eyes, so we would follow him around to each stop that he went.

He was so good to us. When he didn't need to be. He would tell us to hang onto his legs, and then he would drop us in the water, not deep end.

He would tell us if we didn't like a song on the radio, we could go change the radio station to one we wanted, he would say just tell the girls in the little booth that Greg said to change the channel.

He told us each day if we wanted concessions, we could go to the concession stand and tell them you are getting it for Greg.  We would get the ice cold pepsi, and they kept the M and M's in the freezer, so we would get them. We would get him water and bring back to him.

Anyway, I heard a song at the restaurant that night that was one that always played on the radio at the pool, and it made me remember him and my summers at the pool and brought back so many good memories.

When I went home, I listened to one of the cds that I made like 10 years ago, that had 250 songs on it, and some of them I still loved, and some I was thinking why did I like that song, lol.

But as I was listening to the cd, I got the idea for this chapter.  So, I hope if you are reading this, you enjoy the chapter.
