CHAPTER 76: COME BACK TO ME

                                                                      ALYSSA'S VIEW:

Judy hugged me.

Donnie was there now, talking to Jordan. He came up to me. He said, "Hey sweetheart."

I hugged him and cried on his shoulder.

He said, "I'm so sorry this is happening. But I'm so grateful that you are safe."

I said, "He has to be okay."

Jordan said, "He will be. Why don't you go sit down. I need to get you something to drink, how about a shake."

I said, "No. I'm fine."

Donnie said, "Alyssa, you have to keep up your strength, Hanson is going to need you, if you get sick on him."

I said, "Okay I'll try a chocolate shake. Thank you."

One of the nurses said, "I can go get her one, that way you can stay with her."

Jordan said, "Thank you."

Margaret said, "Alyssa, I am going to go see if I can find the chapel, and I'll be back."

I said, "I would like to go too, when you come back of course."

She said, "Alyssa, you can come with me."

I said, "That's okay. I need some time before I go."

Judy came to me and gave me a hug, and we both cried.

We were in the waiting room.

Judy laughed and was crying.

She said, "I knew that Tommy loved you. I just knew it. I'm still not happy with those 3 over there." She pointed to Doug, Harry, and Booker.

She said, "you guys knew he was in love with Alyssa, and you didn't tell me."

Doug said, "Hey don't blame me, blame Hanson. He swore us to secrecy."

They laughed. So did Judy.

Donnie said, "I knew it too. What I don't get is how you didn't know it"

I said, "How did you know it too, everyone knew but me."

Donnie said, " He didn't tell me, but it was easy to see the way he went gaga eyed over you, got flustered, and or course it was kind of obvious his reaction when I blew up his romantic dinner, he planned for you."

I said, "What?"

Donnie said, "When I showed up at Jordan's and interrupted your dinner."

I said, "I thought he was just being nice."

Donnie and Jordan laughed.

Donnie said, "Nice yeah he definitely was not happy to see me, the look he gave me when I walked in."

Jordan said," I bet not." They laughed. I said, "You guys, I think he was just being nice to have my dinner."

Judy said, "I didn't have confirmation, but I just thought he did, the way he looked at you, and the way he was acting. He was acting so unlike the Tom I know. I'm so busting him for not telling me."

The lady that was at the waiting room desk, had turned on the tv, and there was an old movie on.

Donnie said, "That's an oldie." He gave some line from the movie. Trying to make Judy and I laugh.

They went to commercial break, and the news station broadcast an update, coming up on Action Live News tonight, we will have updates to the breaking news story, Alyssa Jamison was kidnapped, and a daring rescue, with 2 people shot, 1 deceased, and 1 cop in surgery as we speak."
