CHAPTER 68: NOT HOME ANYMORE

                                                                                             ALYSSA'S VIEW:

I finished packing up my bags, and put Jake's toys and food in his little bag, he got excited.  

We went to Tom's room for him to pack. I was watching him.

He turned to me. He said, "Alyssa are you okay?"

I said, "yeah, just hate being in here after what they did to you. I'm sorry that I didn't get up here sooner. I should have realized when I saw her on the stairs. I just never thought."

Tom said, "Alyssa, there was no way for you to know, that your mom could do something this evil.

He dropped his bag. He came and gave me a hug. Resting his head on my neck.

I said, "let's go downstairs and wait for Jordan. I also want to confront my mom."

He said, "You get Jake, I'll get the bags."  I put Jake's leash on then picked him up.

We went downstairs and my mom was sitting in the living room.

She saw us, with the bags.

She said, "Where do you think you're going."

I said, "I'm leaving. And I'm never coming back to this house. After what you did as far as I'm concerned you are dead to me."

My dad said, "What did she do Alyssa."

I said, "She set Tom up."

My mom said, "Alyssa I did no such thing."

I said, "That's BS and you know it. I know you set Tom up."

Tom said, "You have the most amazing beautiful inside and out, sweet daughter, and the way you treat her is sick. I knew you were a bad mother from how you treat Alyssa, you insult her all the time, pick at everything she does, and all she has wanted to do is please you and make you proud of her, but I had no idea you were this evil. But I'll tell you lady, you messed with the wrong guy this time."

She said, "John are you going to let him threaten me with violence."

Tom said, "I'm not threatening you with violence. I'm threatening you with the law. I could have you and that bitch assistant of your's arrested. It's a crime to sexually assault someone, and to set it up."

My dad said, "What did you do Veronica."

I said, "She set Tom up. He was asleep in his bed, and she sent that bitch Kris up there, I'm sure she didn't have to twist Kris's arm or force her to do it, but mother wanted me to walk in and catch her in bed with Tom."

My dad glared at my mom.

Tom said, "If it wasn't for the fact I want to protect Alyssa, I'd have you arrested right now. I would gladly take it to trial. But I don't want to put Alyssa through that."

My mom said, "I don't know what you're talking about."

  I screamed at her.

"Stop the lies mother. Just stop. You were so giddy in the kitchen, insisting that I should get upstairs because Tom was cheating on me."

She said, "If you found Tom in bed with Kris, then how is that my fault. She's a beautiful woman. Guys are attracted to her. Don't you see what he's doing, he got caught and now he's trying to twist your head and have you blame me."

I thought Tom was going to come undone. He was even more enraged.

She was afraid and stood behind my dad.
