I'm going to break out of this cycle, right?

Right?

Edit: Nevermind. What in God's name?

What?

She was so young. Too young. Fourteen. I'm going to be fourteen in a few weeks.

Why does life have to be so cruel?

Me and her didn't really get along, but she was a child. She was a band kid. She was a theater kid. Exactly that. A KID.

She didn't deserve that. I wish I had been nicer to her.

That's what's wrong with the world. We're too caught up in our own lives. Once it's too late, it's too late.

I'm acknowledging her now because, Regret is stronger than gratitude. Said by the famous Anne Frank herself.

To you, fellow band kid. I am so sorry that happened to you. It won't bring you back, but I am so sorry it happened. I apologize for anything. I will always admit, you played the Bari sax incredibly well. You were an amazing addition to our region three junior jazz band.

And as always, to my brother. Keep her safe. Another ASC member taken from us too early. I love you so much. I really do. Keep on hanging the stars and painting the sunsets. I miss you. Je ti'ame.
