As soon as the ship had docked, (Y/n) left the ship along with Usopp and Luffy, all three pretty eager to see if there is anything of use there.
"Do you think the man is home today? It doesn't seem like it to me." (Y/n) said as she noticed the quietnes and emptiness in the area.
"Hm? What makes you say that?" Luffy wondered as he walked up to her, earning a shrug from the girl.
"There isn't much going on around here. It's midday and I would expect to see people around here. Also, it's very quiet, too." She explained as Nami and Robin spoke about some gold that was located in Jaya.

"I am pretty sure the man is somewhere around. Let's search through his home." The captain grinned and walked towards the entrance as (Y/n) tried to stop him.
"Are you out of your mind? First of all, that's a rude thing to do. And a second thing is that you don't know this man. He could come back at any moment and attack us for trespassing." (Y/n) explained calmly as Liffy stopped himself at the entrance door, blinking at her abfew times.

"Hmm... That does sound like something someone would do." He hummed as she sweatdropped.
"And?"
"Let's go inside. If he does attack us, I will protect you." Luffy grinned and opened the door before walking inside.
"You have lost it..." She said as Usopp screamed at the captain.
"What are you doing, Luffy?!"
"Is anyone home?!"
(Y/n) sighed and, against her better judgment, followed Luffy into the house.

"(Y/n), you don't need to panic since I will protect you! That weirdo will not touch a hair on your head!"
The said girl jumped a little at Sanji's yelling and looked back outside.
"Thank you, Sanji. It's appreciated." She smiled before resuming to her previous actions. The said cook looked in surprise at the spot she previously was and started fanboying again.
"She said she appreciates me! And she even smiled at me! I can die happily now!"
"Shut up, Sanji!"
"Stupid cook! Do you want to draw attention on us?!"

Usopp and Zoro yelled as they looked at the blonde in jealousy, only to earn a grin from him.
"What? Jealous that she didn't smile at you two losers?"
"Who are you calling a loser?!"
"You! You dunb swordsman!"
"Calling me stupid while you can barely form a proper sentence around women is laughable!"
"I love being stupid around pretty women, Usopp."
"SHUT UP!" Nami's scream could be heard pretty much anywhere on the island by this point.

(Y/n) flinched a little as she heard the group argue outside, but went back to look through the various books that the man had in his collection.
"Herbs..." She mumbled while looking through the titles, only grabbing the ones that looked of some use.

'While I am on the ship, it would be useful to make some medicine in case we need them. Some of these plants might be useful for some of my poisons.' (Y/n) hummed with a smile, lost in her own world as Luffy glanced back at her.
'So cute!! She looks adorable like that. And I am the only one who get to see her like that.' The captain thought with a smile, not noticing Usopp and Chopper approach the door.

"Hey, guys, we found a book outside and it-"
"Usopp! Chopper! Leave! There is a venomous spider here!" Luffy yelled in agitation as he heard the sniper's voice. The announcement caused the other two to start yelling in panic and the clumsily backed away from the door.
"V-venomous?!"
"Spider?!"
"What?! Where?!" (Y/n) asked excitedly as she looked around the room, dropping the books in the process. Luffy sighed and facepalmed, glaring in annoyance at the two crying crewmates.
'Idiots!! That was my alone time with her!' The captain pouted.

Meanwhile, back in the bar in Mock Town, the Bellamy pirates had long ago resumed to partying and drinking. They were either laughing and talking about some random stories they remembered, or were making fun of the Straw Hat pirates they met earlier. Then, the conversation shifted to the weird man the Straw Hats were looking for.
