"Come on! Hurry! Hurry!" Chopper said excitedly as they walked around the house towards the entrance. (Y/n) watched sadly as the reindeer kept going on and on about Hogback and how much he looked up to him.
'Stop being jealous, you dumbass! He has a right to look up to whoever he wants to. It's not like you are the only human he knows.' (Y/n) scolded herself as the two stopped in front of a large tunnel.

"That's the entrance? Looks a little bit too dramatic." She commented as the reindeer hummed.
"Dr. Hogback was always a little bit more eccentric than most doctors."
"I see..." She nodded, and they both walked into the house.
'This place feels so uncomfortable. As if a demon resides here or something.' (Y/n) held back a shiver as Chopper looked at her while smiling.

"You will love Dr. Hogback! He is a genius. Maybe there are some things you two can bond over as well. You can talk to him about the recent poisons you made."
"O-oh! Well, I can try to." She gave him a weak smile while nodding.
'Hogback this, Hogback that.' She thought as resentment slowly started consuming her.

"By the way, where are we supposed to even go? Hildon-san didn't give us any instructions."
"Welcome."
The two heard an unfamiliar feminine voice speak, and they slowly turned around to find a woman with short blonde hair and weird stitchings over her face.
"Gyaaah!!!" The two yelled as Chopper jumped into her arms for protection.

(Y/n) gulped as she looked at the odd appearance of the beautiful woman before finding the courage to speak.
"W-we are looking for Dr. Hogback. We are visitors on this island." She nervously said as she noticed the stack of plates she was holding.
"One, two, three..."
(Y/n) jumped out of the way as she started throwing plates in her direction while Chopper gripped tightly on her shirt.

"Four, five, six..."
"We will die before I get to meet Dr. Hogback!" Chopper cried out as (Y/n) grabbed one of the plates being thrown her way.
"Please! We won't hurt anyone. We just wanted to see if it's ok to speak to Dr. Hogback."
The blonde woman stopped once she saw (Y/n) grab one of the plates that were thrown at her, then she tilted her head to the side to inspect her better.

"How odd..."
"What?" The two looked at each other as a man started yelling and approaching them.
"It's ok, Cindry-chan! They can come inside. Nobody is occupying the house except for the two of us right now, anyway."

The woman, who they now knew as Cindry, looked at the man as he finally came into the view. (Y/n) found his appearance to be a little bit scary but very fitting for a place like this. Fangs, small glasses, and an odd black coat covering his form.
"I am sorry about this. She hates plates a lot. Ever since she tried to test the love of a wealthy man who proposed to her with them, actually." The man laughed more.

Chopper immediately jumped out of her arms and walked closer to the two. (Y/n) quickly walked after him, eyeing the strange duo cautiously.
"This is my plate-hating servant, Cindry-chan. I have missed introducing myself, though. My name is Dr. Hogback, also known as Genius!"
"I heard so much about you already, Dr. Hogback." (Y/n) gave him a nervous smile as the man looked at he with a grin.

"Really? Do you happen to be a doctor as well?"
"Oh no, not at all. But, my friend here is. He is also a huge fan of yours."
Hogback looked down at the reindeer she was pointing at. Chopper quietly smiled up at the doctor as his eyes kept on sparkling the more he looked. The four stood in complete silence, and (Y/n) had to clear her throat to break the awkwardness.

"Your friend doesn't seem really talkative." Hogback laughed as he watched her crouch down and poke his back.
"Chopper, Dr. Hogback is speaking to you."
"H-huh? Oh! Sorry! I just got excited! My name is Tony Tony Chopper, I am a doctor, just like you, and I have been a huge fan of your work ever since I heard of you!"
